  • my answer was directed at this:

it's not revenue based, it's just 1k / year or something like that if you do more than 100k / year. I guess Unity is making their money with the big asset-store and also with their ads-network (Unity Ads) and not with their game engine.

  • I think my point about large AAA companies paying the majority of Unitys devolopment cost still stands.

Edit: after some research it seems that Unity makes more money from ads and IAP then from lincensing. so I was wrong!

It's still revenue based just with thresholds. Assuming you are a 100 people team buying the enterprise license, it would cost 240,000 $ per year in licensing fees.

For example Mihoyo (Genshin Impact) is using Unity, having 2.400 team members, Idk how many actually need a Unity seat... but I think it get's clear what I mean.

check out what R0J0hound wrote, probably is what you are looking for!

  • add the keyboard object to the layout.

    than put in the event:

on keyboard w down 8directiom simulate control up ...

  • yeah, you are basically correct!

Tiles can also not be scaled, moved, rotated, only the whole map can. The tiles will only be placed in a grid aswell.

The main advantage of tiles is, that they are more performant if you have many of the same tiles in your level on one tilemap object, as well as that they are easily placed in a grid.

There are still some ways to animate/ or change tiles at runtime.

  • mhm, I cannot reproduce the bug from your project files. The boss1 music always plays even without fading back up anything.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • you have to fade back up all the sound tags you faded down so "1" "2" etc.

fading "" only fades the last played sound tag

  • I cannot access the file.

  • on death you fade the volume of "" to -100 db. You need to fade it back up on start of layout

  • If you just want to desaturate one layer or layer group use the effect Grayscale and tween or lerp the intensity.

If you want to desaturate every layer below a certain layer, you can use the effect Saturation. Put it on a layer on top, this will turn the saturation of the layers below to the saturation of the pixels on this layer. Set that layer to not transparent, set the layer color to a grey and then tween or lerp the layer opacity.

  • with the effects scanLines and Sphere you can achieve a very similar look, just tweak the values a bit. :)

  • there also is a free state machine Addon with conditions like on state change you might want to check out https://www.construct.net/en/make-games/addons/441/finite-state-machine
