  • which project are you trying to open... projects are not backguard compatible, if that was made with version 120 it won't open.

    there is a post somewhere in the forums about modifying the files to be opened in previous versions.

    Also if that project (caproj, capx) uses a third party plugin that you don't have installed, it wont open either

  • do you mean "call function xxxxx" with a specific param

    in the dialog box of "call function" there is a "add parameter" or something like that below

  • why not using comments, you can put one right before/after the function you're using to help you remember what it does

  • Hi, you can use "is overlapping at offset" condition, and then check for colors or values, or have an invisible sprite that checks the value of the balls overlapping with it.

    This was my first game, you have to click where 3 or more of the same color are next to each other, same principle but it waits for the "click'

  • Construct doesn't have the option to specify ldpi, mdpi, hdp or xdpi assets as native code does, but when exporting to cocoons you must select full screen mode, so the app will stretch to cover the whole screen on the device..

    You can design in the biggest res (will consume a lot of ram and may crash the device - happened to me) and it will scale down with good detail

    You can design low res and it will scale up, but get blurry.

  • In my experience actions like ?set silent? and ?mute? don?t work on cocoon... I had to code SET VOLUME TO -200 in a previous project to get the effect.

    sometimes I open and old version of the same project just to fix bugs and then I can't tell which ones belong to which project
