    You just need to 'tag' Gigatron and politely ask. He is usually very accommodating.

    Be careful of how many consecutive posts you are making - you are looking like a spam bot at the moment.

  • You would need to post a .capx if you want users to be able to help effectively.

    Otherwise, try running in debug - or create your own debug using text fields - to monitor particular values/variables.

  • Hey, so I read somewhere that the C2 education package will be discontinued at some point to make way for C3, but I can't find a link to it.

    As someone who has now taught with C2 for a couple of years, I'm hoping Scirra keep the C2 packages active. First, there is no way I can justify spending $1600 for a year's use of C3 when I was paying a 1/4 of that for C2.

    Also, being in a government system, I've had no end of headaches when it comes to working with programs that work across the internet. C2 had the benefit that we could roll the software out across the network and then not have to worry about it trying to talk to servers somewhere across the world. Relying on something that is connection dependent would be a no-go for me as it's asking for trouble in a classroom (gave up on UE4 because the verification servers always got blocked).

    Can someone clarify if C2 education is going to be discontinued or not.

  • been trying to download the game templates i purchased on the scirra store, and they give an error. tried with several chromium software, tried using a download manager, and neither have worked. there an error on the scirra store download url?

  • How do I fix this??? everything (tiles,tilemap) is the right size (64x64) it just has white gaps between each tile. Would using a image of the map I made in TILED (which has no gaps) be too taxing on the game and take up too much memory because when I import the .tmx file it has white gaps in Construct 2!

    Please consider posting both the .capx and the .tmx file as attempting to work out what is wrong without these will involve too much guesswork.

  • Use one of the free hosting sites such as DropBox, Google/microsoft drive etc. Upload your .capx to the free hosting and then get the 'publicly accessible' link and post it on here. You can also PM the link to anyone.

  • Please be patient. Users come from many different timezones.

    Constantly bumping your own thread is likely to get you a temporary ban, or the anti-spam system might class you as a spammer, so please don't bump unnecessarily.

    It is the accepted practice that bumping your own thread is ok after 24 hours if no answer has been forthcoming.
