    Hi there, i would like to try contruct 3 full function but i don't have the guts to invest that much for yearly subcription.

    Do tom or ashley will create a montly payment or monthly subscription where people like me can use it for a month or so. My recommendation will be like if a year of construct 3 is usd99. That will be usd8.25 permonth. Why not let us try it maybe for usd10 per month. It will be another option for people that use construct as a hobby like i am.

    Please have patience. To expect an answer after an hour is not realistic. Users come from many different time zones, so a little patience is required.

    For future reference, it is generally acceptable that you can 'bump' your own thread after 24 hours if no answer has been forthcoming.

    Regarding your problem, the image is self explanatory. Somehow, either when saving or amending, the write process was probably interrupted, resulting in corruption.

    Since it is the whole Layout missing there is probably nothing that can be done.

    Hopefully you have 'autobackup' and 'autosave' setup.

    These files are in the same directory as your project. Just rename the suffix from '.autosave' to .capx'.

  • I'm using Construct 2 at the moment.

    I made new thread a few moments back, yeah, it feels that my only hope for now.

    Too bad DropBox killed their links. I feel like I missed out on a lot of cool stuff here.

    If you are using C2 then these examples wouldn't have been of any use to you anyway, as they are not compatible with C2.

  • I was hoping they'd still be here. I really wanted to see what those dead links contained.

    I've been lurking the forums for a few hours now and most I found only had dead links.

    Can you help me out? Or should I just make a new topic about dynamic lightning?

    Is it Construct Classic you are using rather than Construct 2/3 ?

    If so, then a new thread requesting help would probably be best.

    This old section isn't used very much these days, so you may have to be patient when waiting for a response.

    Are you sure you have posted in the correct section?

    This thread is over 5 years old for the - now retired - Construct Classic software, so the links are likely to be no good.

    If you meant to post here, then you will have to hope some user still has such old files available and are willing to post a link for you.

    Please allow at least 24 hours for a response. Many of those who help come from many different time zones, so to expect an answer after only 10 minutes is a bit much. Please be patient.

  • This may be something Tom will need to look at.

    In the mean time, have you tried just deleting your game from the Arcade, then re-exporting to the Scirra Arcade?

    Might be worth a try.
