  • It depends on what it would do across the board performance wise.

    Which is heavier sprite, or tiled bg?

    I do remember that tiled bg is worse on ios safari with multiple instances.

    I think saying "$ 5.00 as max price is really stupid idea" .....is a stupid idea especially since you have no information to base that off of.

    In fact all plugs up until recently have been free.

    But if you wish to continue the argument then lets look at something comparable, say for example Spriter.

    Its an editor, and a plug, and costs $24.99.

    Can you make something of that quality?

  • On touched object, set variable to object.x

    Is touching object

    ->on any touch end

    -->touch.x> variable, do foo... cause thats a swipe to the right.

  • Its all one texture. You just say what rectangular part the user can see.

    So, yes if you want it to wrap at the pixel level you would need the texture to be bigger than its viewport.... and then move back to the original position at some point.

  • Its fairly straight forward. It works like a sprite sheet, except you can advance the texture 1 pixel at a time if you like.

    Well loss of an expected profit margin means nothing if people won't buy it at a higher price.

    You just need to add more value, more bling, and more shiny, to get more people interested... which is what I'm looking at.

  • I'd wager Ashley would make an "official" game if he wanted one, its just that his time is pretty limited.

    Thats not to say they've been against community games in the past either, far from it.

    Its just that those characters were made by a third party.

    Anyway character creation is not a big deal.

    Having an idea is.

    Say for example a game based on making up what the context of the footer image would be.
