All your work is great, but I especially really love the retro-pixel one!

  • Congrats on finishing game! Since I haven't finished my first one yet, I was curious, was it had to get it on the app store?

No problem! It's invite only if you want to post, so I emailed you one.

Thanks, but I didn't seems to get the invite. Could you send it to this e-mail address instead:

    Thanks again!

  • Hello, my name is Rick Grossenbacher. I am a professional video game artist, and have been working on games since the mid-1980s.

Though I work as an artist now, I actually started out as a programmer way back in the days of the Vic-20, Commodore 64, Apple IIGS, Amiga 500, and PC-386 making games with BASIC, C++, and 6502 Assembly Language. My first "published" game was a version of Tetris for the Apple II I programmed in BASIC and Assembly for Nibble Magazine in 1989.

I'm currently in the process of making my first game in Construct 2. I'm loving C2 since it's easy enough to get a game up and running, yet powerful enough to use functions reminding me of my old programming days.

In the past, I have worked on games for:

    Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360

Sony Playstation 2 and Playstation 3

    PC

Nintendo Game Cube and Nintendo Wii

Nintendo Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance

    Mobile / Handheld / Tablet

Some of the more notable titles I've contributed to over the years are:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (PS3)

    UFC Undisputed 3 (Xbox 360)

Rock of the Dead (PS3/Xbox 360)

    UFC 2010 Undisputed (Xbox 360)

    Tomb Raider: Underworld (Xbox 360/Wii/PS3)

    Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS2/Xbox/Wii)

    X-Men: Legends (PS2/Xbox/Gamecube)

    Wolverine’s Revenge (GBA)

    The Revenge of Shinobi (GBA)

Frogger Advance: The Great Quest (GBA)

Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire (GBA)

    Rescue Heroes: Fire Frenzy (GBC)

Blue’s Clues: Blue’s Alphabet Book (GBC)

    The Wild Thornberrys: Rambler (GBC)

    Barbie Magic Genie Adventure (GBC)

    Spider-Man (GBC)

    Polaris SnoCross (GBC)

    AMF Bowling (GBC)

    Vigilante 8 (GBC)

    Daikatana (PC)

  • Awesome, Caleb! Thanks a million for posting this.

  • Thanks for asking that question... I was wondering the same thing. Or if there was a way to do it the other way around. In other words, I have a flash file/animation, and if there is a simple way to get that into C2?

  • Congrats on finishing a game! Yeah, it was too difficult early on but still a funny/cool concept!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Hi,

I'm a professional video game artist and I would certainly be interested in helping you out. Please take a look at my portfolio:

  • Hello,

My name is Rick Grossenbacher. I have over 16 years of professional experience in the video game industry working on multiple titles and platforms, and on a few triple-A games such as “Tomb Raider: Anniversary”,“Tomb Raider: Underworld”, and “X-Men: Legends”.

I'm looking for anyone who is seeking an artist for a paid opportunity. Sorry, I'm not able to work for free since I have my own Construct 2 game in the works and it takes up all my free time.

I can work in a variety of styles from cartoon to realistic. If there is something different than what is in my portfolio that you are looking for I can provide additional samples.

  • Congratulations! I can't wait to see a tutorial! I've been holding off on buying an Ouya because I wanted to make sure it was possible to port a Construct 2 game to it (without massive frustration).

I'm most concerned with the Ouya gamepad controls. Was that difficult to work properly?
