I've been digging and I think I might need to look in to the AJAX plugin, but I'm still lost on how to set the text field to the content of a webpage even if the AJAX plugin can call it. -_-

Without being too intrusive, I thought it would be neat to post updates for my project on twitter or as plain text on a website and then have that display in the app on a specific update page.

How would I do that?

I'd like the user to be able to move to that page and then click a button to receive the most recent update and that would make the app set the text field to the most recent tweet or maybe just the text on the specific webpage set up for the task.. whatever is easier, and I imagine it might be easier to pull from plain text on a specific webpage.

I know there's a way I just cant remember the way to do it. It might have been from an addon but I can't seem to find that either.

I'm working on a project that would be even better if I could somehow export a series of screenshots automatically.

The project generates random abstract art and I would like to have it generate an image, save it to a file and then repeat maybe 10 times or so. I already have it generating a new scene on click, but I'm not too sure how to save that as an image from the app and definitely not sure how to trigger it more than once automatically.

Any ideas?

I have just tried monitoring the live input from the webcam, however it doesn't seem to work.

The same code works perfectly when playing an audio file.

Am I doing something wrong?

Construct 2 preview mode runs as a webserver, so this should be working.

On your main PC:

1. Touch Win+R

2. Enter "ipconfig"

3. Find the IP-adress for you NIC (network interface card)

On you tablet:

1. Open your browser

2. Enter the IP adress and port 50000 in the address field (ie. 192.168.2.1:50000).

I guess Construct 2 need to be run as an administrator (right click Construct 2 icon and select "run as administrator") for it to work.

Is there a way to connect to the address and port of the test run on my computer with a tablet or smart phone?

Rather than going through the process of using an SDK to export to android, I would love to connect over wifi, and I think I can but i'm not sure how.

Any ideas?

Bit of an odd question for you. Currently, I don't have any assets, aside from music. Just an idea in the form of a short story I wrote a while back. The idea is for it to be a top down shooter.
