  • Awesome. Please keep us updated, I'd love to be part of the testing.

  • Sometimes I wonder why I even bother posting questions.....

  • Noob question: what's the deal with PHP? Is it important to games?

    want...to....play...this...

  • cool stuff...I tried it in Firefox & it worked great. Also, glad to see someone else saying the writing is on the wall for Flash....I've been suspecting it for a while now. You just can't compete against great indie software like C2

  • Guess I should have specified my interest in Arxive somewhere in the post....

  • That's pretty much the whole post.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

  • Hey that's a good idea.

I'll probably need an actual website sooner or later, though...I do a lot of experiments. Is there anything I should look out for while shopping for a host for my site?

  • I'm getting ready to build my 1st website for my games. Can anybody tell me what the minimum requirements are? I have a domain name registered, but I'm not quite sure what I need out of a host to make sure that I can A) put my games up & B) make money from ads, sponsorship, sales, etc.

I read somewhere that tumblr is a good free option, but I haven't actually seen any games on it. What about using tumblr as a placeholder for my info while I look for a real host? Would I be able to just pop in, use it for a few days, & then easily transfer the name to a new site?

  • JLH1964 I am very disappointed with ads in C2+CocoonJS...My advice is to buy the license but don't expect to ear money from ads....do freelancing for html5 or sell to iOS

You've got my interest. I'm buying the license soon & I plan to start making a little money. Do you have any advice on freelancing this stuff? I've never seen any ads for someone looking for a game-builder...

  • I'm brand new to web publishing. And I have a handful of games that are approaching "finished" that I'd like to test or try to sell, so I'm getting ready to get my 1st website. And I have no idea what I'm doing. A few questions:

1]Is there a primer on the site that breaks down the distribution process as digestibly as an Ashley tutorial?

2]A couple of my games will be multiplayer. Are there any extra requirements because of this that I should consider when shopping for a web host?

3]A couple of my games have adult themes. Should I be looking for an adult host?

4]Are there some sites that won't/can't work with HTML5 games? I'm kind of picking that up around the forums...

    thanks in advance

  • Here the file fixed:

    work much better!!

Thanks, but it completely changed the movement of my sprite....and I really like the movement of my sprite.

I should have posted earlier: I actually already fixed the problem by creating a wall & stopping the Custom Movement when the sprite is overlapping it.
