  • ha! that's a fun game

  • Hello guys, I embedded my game to my website temporarily through google drive. But I do not want to do that. I want someone to be able to click on a link on my website and be taken to the index.html file. I have read every tutorial none does what I want. I tried to iframe my index.html file and it said 404 error.

To be more specific I would like to upload my index.html file and be able to play online. I need very good instructions please help. The reason I am doing this is because google drive has low bandwidth

P.S. I am using weebly website maker

    Did you solve this?

  • When you go to save your game: click on the "File" gear at the top left of the window, scroll down to "save as single file..." and that's where you get your .capx (which can then be uploaded to dropbox)

  • Did you ever figure this out? Seems like you would have to specify in your events sheet a place to save the .png

Also, try saving your project as a single file & uploading that to dropbox.

  • The beginner's tutorial shows you how to do that https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/37/beg ... onstruct-2

<p>Three original characters for your C2 project. They'd be great for any island-, surf-, or jungle-themed games, but you can also use them just to experiment or practice your chops. Good guys? Bad guys? Don't let ME tell you what to do with 'em! </p>

    • Fireguy juggles a fireball in an up-and-down motion,
    • Spearguy hops around with a spear you can throw in whatever direction, distance, speed & style you can code (comes with spear)
    • Drumguy rocks out. Maybe he's blasting soundwaves or trembling the Earth...it's up to you. You can even rearrange his 3 frames to create a custom beat.

<p>Each animation is a collection of sequentially-numbered .PNG files that you can just drag & drop into the layout of your C2 project. </p><p>(NOTE TO EXCLUSIVE BUYER: need any changes or extra frames? Let's talk!)</p>

  • Hi miketv. Sorry to get back to you so late. I'm going to talk to Ashley because this is an importer (c2-side) problem. I'll let you know what he says. Also this works for me if I do a portable install to different folders on my hard drive, but all of my portable devices use MTP so I can't test on a different device. Can you tell me what type of device or setup you're trying to use, and I'll pass that information on to Ashley as well.

I'm not sure if it's MTP or....? But I kept repeating the process & restarting the computer until something happened & it finally worked. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

  • If I understand correctly, using a shadow light might not be your best option for this. You instead might want to create a new sprite that looks like a shadow & check for that overlapping.

But I'm not sure I understand correctly.

Another option might be to check for sprites overlapping at an offset, instead of just checking whether they're overlapping.

Can you upload a .capx so we can see your setup?

  • E Bear is it someone blowing on a cup of coffee?

Mine is a sketch of a mailbox I'm building.

  • I might give this a shot...gotta check the schedule

  • I have 2 mice. Both are designed specifically for right hand use. I modified one to work for the left hand, but it rotated that mouse's orientation 180 degrees. So, how do I rotate it another 180 degrees so that it's properly oriented?

The problem is that I use both mice, & it looks like I can only setup one profile. I don't want to have to go into the settings & re-orient every time I switch mice.

Any ideas? I need one mouse to have its default orientation, & I need the other to have its orientation flipped 180 at the same time.

    thanks in advance

  • They were really clever in choosing which features to release & which ones to release only to licensed users. Since I got mine, I can't believe how much I love just being able to shut down the program without waiting 3 seconds...devious bastards

  • Where are you guys getting release r176? When I go to the download page, it's still on r173...

    EDIT: nevermind. Beta, duh.

  • I haven't actually done this yet, so I might be wrong: instead of just creating a sprite for the noses, create a family. Then you can compare if a family member is overlapping another family member, without having to specify which noses.

I think families are one of those things they hold back for the licensed version, though.

  • Dang. I guess I wasn't on the trail, after all. Thanks for the update.
