  • ... a game that makes me so much money, that I can spent the rest of my life making the games I want without disturbing things like...jobs....

    Who doesn't dream of that?

  • Nice!

I've also used a lot of flash, and I'm not a big fan of Javascript, so Construct is being a big help

  • That will be very helpful, thank you!

  • I hate some things you guys hate, don't care about others, and even like some of the things you hate, heh. I like grinding, but yeah, it's not very fun if it's forced.

One thing I really hate is the extreme hand holding in some games, and the game punishing you for not doing exactly what it orders you to do. I know sometimes it's needed, but some games exagerate too much on that.

  • Bought it before the rise, but even with the new price it's still a great deal, considering the whole package

  • Something like the Suikoden series. That kind of world building will probably take years of work, and to get something on that series level, it would need to be very, very polished.

Also, Wonderboy. This one, I'm working on right now.

  • Very nice! Looking forward to the finished product

  • I couldn't test it, the link is giving a "This Account Has Been Suspended." error. Could you check that?

"Every X Seconds" doesn't work as well because the seconds are independent of any key press.

For instance, if it's every 5 seconds, and you press shoot at the 4th second, you can shoot once then, and after a second, you can shoot again.

Even when it's a sub condition? I have been using this without problems, but my delay is a lot shorter than that. Didn't know, I'll fix that on my game, thanks!

  • Looking forward to seeing it!

You can also use the "On Key Pressed" event, if you want the archer to shoot an arrow every time you press the spacebar, but don't want him to keep shooting while the bar is pressed.
