  • I am going to develop 50 games in Constructor3.

IT will be P2E games based on Crypto.

I am looking for a Contructor3/JS expert who can work with me to make 50 games.

I am a Crypto Expert so I can help you how to call and send crypto currencies in JS.

IF developer has Crypto/JS experience as well, That will be big plus

I develop NFT games and create things like wallet connection with Metamask. I also write JavaScript backends and multiplayer servers.

  • It should be fixed(at least i hope)

Thank you Lahmacun :) I hope you didn't use Google Translate.

By the way, everyone is welcome to the "Construct Türkiye" Discord community for helping and sharing.

  • Thanks for this!

  • I also posted it here: construct3.ideas.aha.io/ideas/C3-I-1746

  • Making the dots child objects instead of pinning helped!

  • Try Construct 3

is there a way to make the pin behavior adapt to the size and position of the main object? like, i have a lot of objects pinned. and i want to create artificial image points

because when i pin, and change the size of the main sprite, the pinned objects stay wherever they are.

I could create imagepoints in the editor but it runs on an API

so the points will be different for an image

Is there a way we could have "create imagepoint" in code?

or... is there another way to achieve this?

  • You know how in Unity or other engines, you create like a combat system or a UI system and give it parameters, and change those parameters like instance variables. (These are called Components in Unity)

We have for instance, the Platform variable. It has parameters like speed, acceleration... and we sometimes give it more parameters with instance variables.

Sometimes, if an object or a sprite has more than one functions or it is a part of more than one component, instance variables may get messy.

Would there be an addition to create custom components like this? Say, I want to create a custom behavior in-engine! and assign it to the objects that I want?

This can be reproduced with Families too, but for example, making a UI system and quickly implementing values and parameters to it would make sense if we were able to take advantage of a custom behavior system.

What are your thoughts about this? Would it be deemed simply unnecessary? I mostly wonder about Ashley's response. Is it a good point of view at all?

    Thank you.

P.S: Have been using Construct for the last 2 years or so happily, and for both games and applications. Didn't mean to overstep or anything.

  • Put the origin point to the left or right and then change the X :)

  • Can you create a new google spreadsheet within Construct 3 and use a new one every time? Instead of putting a URL and putting the data inside that?

    construct.net/en/tutorials/create-online-database-google-1373

    construct.net/en/tutorials/sending-data-from-construct-23-to-google-spreadsheet-1447

These tutorials don't help for it. I need to create a new "Sheet" every time and use it. Like for simply creating a new Excel file, putting some data in it and then downloading it, or giving the URL.

    Thanks.

  • It was updated and I also reinstalled it but after a while, now it works. Weird.

  • I tried to download the nw.js update through it and it failed. I run it in administrator mode and I was using nw.js 48.0 already before trying to update to 49.2

    What can be wrong?

  • Is there a .c3p example for multiplayer games and chat using websocket for Construct? There is a tutorial video on how to make a websocket server for Construct 2/3 but there isn't any real examples on how to make it all happen. Especially multiplayer.

And one thing I was wondering is are we able to broadcast a message to one peer only/to all peers with a setting so it would save bandwidth.

I don't really want to use the multiplayer plugin. I want full freedom if you may :P

    Thank you for your help!
