  • Problem Description

    My Tank or object does not arrived at the specified XY, just closest to the target point. Is this by design ?

    Description of Capx

    There are two objects. Red box(Tank) and green box (Target).

    When on touched or mouse clicked, the red box should reach the green box and completely overlapped the greenbox. But in this case it will just partially overlapped the greenbox.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Start the game
    • Click anywhere on layout.
    • Watch the redbox, it wont completely overlapped the greenbox. The bluebox is for restart layout.

    Observed Result

    The tank or red box does not reach the specified XY.

    If you continue clicking anywhere on screen, it will try to reach it or completely overlap the greenbox.

    Expected Result

    The tank or red box completely reach the specified target XY and completely overlap the greenbox.

  • I would highly suggest use stereo sound. I found out it may causes audio issues in Safari. I understand your frustrations.

    Checklist

    -make sure all audio are stereo (very important)

    -try use lower frequency 22khz

    -before move to next layout, make sure audio preload complete is triggered (for me it will always triggered or try to add wait like 5 seconds before move to next layout as backup)

    -i put music in audio folder, not music folder

    -music try to use less than 30 seconds

    I use audacity for audio editing. So far i dont have issues anymore on audio. Usually i just use preloads event once at warming up layout.

    Clear browser or safari cache and try again

    Any plan to reduce or just use one object (scml/scon) in Construct 2?

    GreyGuy example with "prettify option" set to off would be 500kb (scml+scon). Having a lot of animations would easily build up duplicate or redundant files and make the size huge.

    May I know why we still need two formats ? (XML+JSON)

    Add pin behavior to scml object, and pin it to dummy sprite on startup or on object created ?

    Edit: Just import from construct 2 and preview it in Stock browser.

    I only have one scml object "player" on the screen. Based on my observations, all of the player animations will have this berserk sprite ? bug intermittently on android stock browser. The animations are saved using Spriter version B8 and prettify off. I will test on GreyGuy example and post link for you. Can you test on your side using android stock browser and sees if the problem occurs ?

    The bug only happens on android stock browser and not on chrome, firefox (PC and android)

    Lucid, can you put your email for me to send the scml, capx file ?

    I also got a complained from a publisher or sponsor regarding the double touch bug on stock android browser. I have tested my games on Galaxy S3 International 4.3 (Stock rom) and it does have this bug.

    On touched "btnClicked"->increase integer : will trigger twice on android default browser.

    I have to do this for now.

    global variable =androidTouchFix=0

    is touching "btnClicked" and androidTouchFix=0->Increase integer and change androidTouchFix=1

    on touch end=androidTouchFix=0

    Above are not the actual codes. But I hope you can understand the logic.

    Hi. Did you test Spriter object with Android default browser ? One of my publisher is complaining that the character will sometimes just corrupted. Hands, eye just go beserk at a split of a second when idle. When I tested it on my Galaxy S3 default android browser, it does shows this bug. I may have to revert to old spritesheet method if this can`t be resolved on Android browser. On chrome it is ok.
