  • Nice work. The game works perfectly to me (Chrome).

    The AI is...   well, really simple, but works well.

    In one play, the AI won?t got a 6 on almost 6 or 7 turns, and see how roll dices a lot of times was a little boring <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />.

    The new graphics and sounds are nice.

    A little suggestion: When a character win a effect, "feather" for example, he have this power at he use, but if you don?t move that character in some turns, you can forgot what power he have. Maybe could be a good idea make little icons for powers, and active it under the image of character or near.

    By the way don?t think make some games of Pepo. I have a lot of ideas about others characters and worlds to play, but...    neither do not say a definite no...   <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • A game like yours is very hard to make, and have a lot of work with graphics. Really looks very well, I wait patiently can play some of it. I�m sure will be great!

  • Finally I implemented a health system. Now Pepo have 3 hit points (hearts), and some hearts in the maps fill 1 heart counter. If Pepo dies, spawn with the 3 hearts, but if you clear a stage, on the next stage the health will be the same you have. To balance the new feature, now the life number at start is 2 than 3 of the last version.

    I hope make the game more accesible for begginers and not so easy to advanced players. Is hard to test the difficulty of the game by myself, so I hope if you like the game, say me your impressions and suggestions.

  • pixel perfick yes, I agree with that.

    The idea of make a boots to can kill enemies was in my mind on the moment of design the first stage of the game, but how my idea is can?t kill the enemies, I don?t make it. Maybe could make a invulnerable item like Mario Bros Star. Anyway, if I make power-ups like the boots or star, I will need redesign the levels to put them on the right places.

    My idea to adjust difficulty is based on quit some enemies and traps, the most "archly" placed, in the lower level. On some places, the snails are real nightmare if I think like someone who never played the game, and maybe could be good idea destroy them if the level is more easy. Maybe too reduce the speed of some ants to bring a little more time to calculate a jump to avoid them.

    pixel perfick, yes, that is my big fear: make the game so easy. The old school games was very hard, and that is the spirit of the game, but I don?t want the people hates the game if is really frustrating.

    I think maybe could be a good idea the next things:

    • Implement a health system with 2 or 3 hit points before Pepo dies.
    • Implement a "easy" difficulty level with some changes to make the game more simple to the beguinners, but with less rewards and with the higher stages blocked. Only to take the control of the game to high challenges.
    • Keep the original game how the "hard" level.

    I?m planning with a lot of options, but I will try to not to make the game very easy but a little less difficult... at least to the begginers.

    What do you think?

    A lot of people tell me in the last days the game is so hard and frustrating by forum and PM, so I�m thinking to implement a health system to make Pepo more resistant against the enemies or obstacles.

    I still thinking on the idea of difficulty levels. With a health counter and some things to make the game less harder I can balance the difficulty level to some type of players.

    If you agree with this, or you have any idea about it, I'm open to ideas and suggestions!

  • The game concept is really original.

    Some suggestions:

    • You must put in the tutorial the need to scrolling the screen to see all the complete map. On the first play if don?t think on it, you not undestand why lose.
    • On the tutorial, when you take 2 of the 3 coins or medals, the upside counter mark the 3 medals taked.
    • Sometimes I have problems with the scrolling. The control goes weird and don?t let me scrolling. (I use PC and Chrome).
