Here you can see I just duplicated the original layout, I selected the copy and the event sheet is the same but the enemy sprites stop working properly.

It works fine on my end. Did you assign the right event sheet to your new layout?

Yes, I duplicated the main layout and the first event sheet was automatically assigned to it.

If you try to duplicate the main layout (or to add a new layout of your own creation) of this template without changing the related event sheet, the ghost AI movements stop working and the enemy sprites just move to the right before disappearing.

Something doesn't quite add up: why would the enemy sprites AI stop working properly if the event sheet is the same and the layout is either a copy of the original one or a new one with the same variables?

Not really an issue with the template is it. Taking a template then making edits, seeing its broken and asking someone else to fix it is not the best way to learn Construct. Better to make your own game to understand Construct and use the template as a guide.

No, actually the template itself has an issue. If you look at it with no edit you can see the third and fourth ghost sprites are moving in a strange fashion.

If I try to add a frame to each animation of the ghost sprite and change it, it doesn't work with the "On Start Of Layout" condition and "set animation frame" action but only with the "Every Tick" condition. Also the Pinky animations are acting funky, moving in a seemingly random pattern.

Anyone can help me to fix the problem?

How do I change a sprite size to make it slightly different from its collision box? For example having a a 58x58 sprite with a 48x48 collision box. Or the opposite.

I already asked it with a different screen-name but I can't find the previous thread, sorry.

I was using the 251.2 version because it's the last to support the C2 runtime since I have a game that doesn't work on the C3 runtime. When I try to export it to android I get this error:
