  • Just something I have been picking around at over the past year. It's actually taking up all of my free time now.

Figured I would let you all play a demo level, so I can get some feedback.

    Platform Adventure Demo

    0.1a 2/19/2014

    -Too many updates to mention.

    0.0.0.3 1/28/2014

-Added health to the player. Starts with three.

-Players can now receive damage. Upon death the level is reset.

-Added a level select template to jump to, after the level has been completed.

    -Added Galacticoins as collectables.

-Changed Grass/Dirt sprites to hopefully be easier on the eyes.

    0.0.0.2 1/27/2014

-Fixed a bug allowing off-screen enemies to increase the player's score.

-Added possibility to receive Power-ups from Exclamation boxes.

-Adjusted layouts to compensate for an increase to jump strength.

-Added new graphics for the controller.

    0.0.0.1 1/22/2014

    Initial Release to Scirra Arcade.

    Thank You,

  • I absolutely hate this art style and the whole ninja/china thing. But I will definitely download the free version before bed and give it a go. I'll leave feedback tomorrow.

    Good work,

    Stephen

  • Works perfectly. Does exactly what I was looking for. Now I just need to figure out how it all works, lol.

    Thank You,

    Stephen

  • Doesn't seem to be working as intended. I'm off to work. I'll check back in a few hours. Maybe I can figure this out after a break.

  • The cube just sits there rotating. Is this what you had planned for it to do?

  • Player >> On collision with Circle >> Start rotation for Circle >> Wait 2 seconds >> Stop rotation.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Try changing your Sampling to Linear.

  • Hey hey!

I have a circle that rotates when it is in a collision with another object. After X amount of time it stops and that is fine.

What I am wanting to accomplish is to have the circle slowdown its rotation speed as it nears the end of the rotation time limit.

I have an idea of how this would be possible but I am unsure of the math behind it. Could anyone explain this to me?

    Thank You,

    Stephen

  • There is a way to continue from where you were last previewing -not on PC now so I can't check. Instead of previewing with f5 I think it is shift f5. hopefully this will help.

Yes, if you hold Shift and click the Play button. Your updates will be added without reloading the entire project again.

  • 8,500 files is your problem.

  • I'm sorry I don't understand. You want the character to continually jump while the jump key is pressed? Or do you want it to only jump each individual time the key is pressed?
