  • I don't think this is a C2 issue.

  • Problem Description

When using a 9patch and Text, both with Global enabled. Switching layouts causes them to loose their Z-order information. The Text is 9 times out of 10 now placed on the bottom.

    Attach a Capx

    Description of Capx

Run the capx on Layout 1. An event will bring you to Layout 2 where the Z-orders of 9patch and Text are wrong.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Create a 9patch with Text above it. (Same Layer)
    • Set both to Global.
    • Go to new Layout.

    Observed Result

    Z-order is... out of order.

    Expected Result

Z-order to remain the same between Layouts.

  • Hey there,

I am trying to figure out how to tween a sprite while it is in motion. Kind of like a being stretched effect. I would also like to know how to add other motion tweens to other parts of my game. Could anyone help me out on this?

If you are wondering what exactly I am trying to accomplish, then please check the link below.

  • How are you checking the value of object.count? If you are using a visual notification, are you updating it?

  • You could just create the stage on an angle. That way nothing has to be controlled. The level will already be the correct way.

  • I highly recommend against this. You don't wanna force the player to have to readjust their phone every time. Especially people who turn Auto Orientation off.

  • Great improvements. I especially like the birds/bugs flying out of the bush.

  • Complete waste of time. I suggest you use 8 or 10 mouth frames and relate them to vowels used in each word. Sort of like how you would see South Park characters talk.

  • When will this be open source? I really wanna learn from this.

  • All you have to do is to store the pattern of the object that you are trying to move as a set of coordinates.

I'm sorry, but how do I do that?

  • Hey there,

I am trying recreate an arcade style game like Galaga. Where the enemies come down the screen on a set path, do a few turns and twists, line up on the side of the screen and then eventually fly off.

I started looking at Path Finding but I am not sure how to input the pathing information. Am I handling this type of AI correctly by using Path Finding? Or is there a smarter way to do this? Thank You.
