We Appreciate all of your support! Enjoy!

I'm really happy to see that ReVeN is still being worked on! I remember the first time seeing this project was a huge inspiration for me. I look forward to its completion!

  • Grave Prosperity - Part 1 is now available on the Steam Store!

    https://store.steampowered.com/app/8336 ... y__part_1/

Also, 2 pieces of free DLC come with it!

For those who remember the roots of Grave Prosperity, on the RPG Maker engine, you can play through the game in the 2012 OG Costume!

And of course for the fans of Redux- the ones this remake was made for- you can play through the game in the Redux Costume as well!

Save data and achievements are all shared between each piece of DLC and the base game, so you can change things up and pick up wherever you last saved with all your data intact!

    Have fun everybody!

  • Part 1 was full of lots of well lit areas. At least a lot for a horror game... So I decided it would be fun to finally toss the player into the dark in Part 2! To keep things interesting, there will be plenty of sections that introduce new mechanics for different situations!

  • Lily's model and full sprite-set has been updated with its new textures for Part 2. Check it out!

Now it's on to the fun part: Making the environment!

  • Grave Prosperity Part 1 is finally complete!

Now it is time to get cracking on House of Velez Part 2! Since the end of Part 1, our character Lily has been under a ton of stress. Here in Part 2 I really wanted that stress to reflect not just in her actions, but in her face as well.

Attention to detail is the norm here, and Part 2 is going to be chalk full of it!

Let the horror show begin once more!

  • Finally after a non-stop grind of 5 months, Grave Prosperity part 1 now has a home on the Steam Store!

Enjoy the action/gore fest this May 1st!

  • Anytime! Thank you for the interest in my work.

  • This is a really cool project. I love how the characters are nice and large on the screen. Can you tell me what resolution you rendered your main character at and how many frames per second the animation plays at. (I don't mean the overall game, just the character animation fps).

The characters are rendered at 640X480 (of course cropped down in C2's editor), and are animated at 24fps. Except for walk and run cycles, those are animated at 12fps since they're longer and tend to take up more memory.

I also have the layouts zoomed in slightly, along with the sharpen effect applied at 50%, so everything looks a little bigger and more detailed.

  • Hi Dark Room Games, is everything pre-rendered sprites or do you have 3D assets in the game? Can you please post a gameplay video?

It's all pre-rendered sprites. Gameplay is posted on the first page of the thread- second post, but you can see more, including some of the changes it underwent during development on my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQLF-a ... v_XCJhZ_og

  • One more week before GP is finally ready to be submitted over to Steam Direct! It's been a fun 5 month process!

LET'S GET READY TO KILL SOME DEMONS!

  • Been putting a lot of work into focusing on small facial features during my cutscenes. Here is a clip from the upcoming Grave Prosperity showing some of what I've got going on:
