  • Wait never-mind, I think its java. If so, then you won't be able to use it.

You can make a script tag in the index.html and place a function in that after exporting if the code is in html. Then you can call the function using browser execute javascript action. api calls are also doable if you make an external js file then do a call to it. But I'm not sure what programming language it is and I'm too lazy to find out. It might be best to find out which language it is first.

  • Aw, its only for uk developers. It's probably worth checking out if your within the region.

  • It was mentioned in the newsletter that it is still in beta, but I think contacting them about any issues earlier on would be better, as they could end up fixing any bugs claimed in by the testers when the full release is out.

  • I have to agree with Whiteclaws, the title is misleading. But it might be best to show your current work- in -progress to build interest.

An artist might like your idea and decide to join your group.

Whats the point in selling a free template?

I swear some people these days, I don't even know what to say...

    Thanks mate

You won't be able to build a full rpg battle system with only 100 events unfortunately. A demo maybe, but once again it would be very limited. Is this your first construct2 project? Do you have any programming experience?

If this is your first construct 2 project and you have no prior programming experiences, then I think you should start with a smaller project till you get a better understanding of how C2 works.

I appreciate the offer, maybe in the future

In terms of performance, C would probably be one of the best choices, but currently I'm trying to adapt to html5 specifically so javascript or an engine will make do for now. I just assumed you were planning to learn a new language to create games outside of C2 since your active on the C2 forums (I think), but of course there are many things you can do with programming in general

So is he looking for a way to make a drawn-to life system?

I made a cruddy drawing mechanic a couple of months ago. I could edit it to be a fully customizable character if that's what your looking for. My system is also very well optimized so it does run on mobile browsers. My system also comes with a line tool and an eraser, marker and pen tool.

Here's the link to a video I posted a long while back:

Those programming languages are easily transferable to unity as it has c#, Are you learning them to transfer to a new game engine? I enjoy using C2 and Unity but I don't have a group to work with for unity, so I currently use C2 to playtest.

  • There could be a bazillion problems

You gotta be more specific mate.

  • Kyatric

Whoops, don't know how I missed this. Much appreciated.
