  • take a look at lerp, qlerp and cubic lerp, that could help you on your way.

    they are nicely described here

  • could you maybe create a small drawing in paint (or something) of what it is you want to do? Some other approach might solve your issue. (Just trying to understand what the problem really is)

  • Have you looked at the program mentioned in this tutorial (GiveYourFontsMono), that could do the trick for you.

  • You could do something along these lines...

    .capx

  • tchem That should be possible yes.

You can just compare the number of the timestamp to see if it is bigger then either 2 days or twelve minutes, and show the sprites if that is the case.

  • If you want the spawner to spawn bullets in a curtain angle you should keep that angle on a instance variable on the spawner sprite.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Sure. You could create an instance variable and then set the angle to what you want depending on which of the instance you picked.

Use System --> compare two values after you have picked the random spawner instance.

  • "System --> pick random instance" could do that for you. Then on the action spawn the bullet.

  • Just make a global variable called highscore or something and then add the score from every level to the highscore when the level ends. Then you will have your total highscore when all levels are over.

  • Have a look at this topic.

Basically use the Pin behavior to pin the HP bar to your zombie, and have a instance variable on the zombie set the amount of life left.

  • You can use the CocoonJS to do stuff you would only do on platform that CocoonJS supports. E.g. if you also ship your game to platforms that CocoonJS does not support and you dont want specific stuff to happen on those platforms.

See it as a hieraki. If you choose CocoonJS both your actions will be called on both IOS and Andriod. If you choose one specific like IOS it will only happen on that platform.

So CocoonJS is just 1 step up the abstraction ladder.

  • No you can always open older files in a newer version.

You just download the newer version from the website and install it (it will prompt you to delete the old one, just say yes to that).

(he might be using a beta version which you can find the link to at the bottom of every scirra page just above the download counter)
