Ive just done a quick test with this as i am looking for a solution. I added a new item to a list (showing time) and I update it every:
wallclocktime - lastTime >= 1 second
I then export as HTML and install to homescreen on iOS and initially it works.
However, if I leave it a while (2 minutes) and re-open it, it like catches up with its self and adds the N number of items (correct amount) to the list but all at the time of opening, therefore timestamps are all the same.
So "something" is running in background and queuing all the actions up but then only executing them on re-opening?
Any ideas?
Cant open any project from dropbox (cannot refresh list).
If i try to find references it crashes.
That's a real shame, but thank you for taking a look.
Its perfect for my use if it wasn't for this small issue and frustratingly I cant really find another way/addon to get same behaviour. :(
I also noticed that setting "Downscaling to Low" removes the issue but again this then results in "blocky edges".
Hi Mikal,
Thank you for looking into this for me, much appriciated.
Please find the example file.

Please drag the arrow icons to see the issue in play.
Thanks
Hi Mikal, I know this was a while ago now but I am revisiting this and trying to overcome this same issue.
I can try and send over an example showing the issue but to describe again:
It is a single PNG image that is transparent right to the edges of the image with only some non-alpha parts within the image. The non-alpha areas are a solid colour (red) which is what is then seen as a thin border of the whole image (the 4 sides).
Again it only happens when using tri or bilinear sampling.
Hope you can help.
The HTML element is such a game changer for UI and APP interfaces. Amazing!
The HTML Element for me is the next best feature to be implement after JS, beauty is they compliment each other perfectly. For an app developer like myself (with a strong HTML, JS and CSS background) the HTML Element opens so many doors and saves so much time. Amazing.
This is exactly the response I was hoping for, however... I dont seem to see this new plugin?
Maybe I'm not using the latest Beta (which I usually do). Will check.
Andy
I'm confused about the the fix for "HTML element" - is this in ref to the addon "HTML element" or something else?
Ok, I came across this plugin whilst about to purchase the firebase bundle for an upcoming app I have been commissioned with. However, the QR code is quite vital to the app so I will hold out on purchasing until this has been fixed.
Anyone having any luck getting this to read QR codes?
Tried the example and my own using pc+webcam and on mobile (in browser) and no luck at all. Just fails to read any QR code.
Does this require firebase plugin to work?
Thanks Mikal I did read that somewhere and have already done so but unfortunately it still remains. I will do some more testing, really hope I can resolve it as this working so well!
It is actually something I am developing as part of a professional magic trick routine. So unfortunately cannot show much. But appreciate your efforts as it’s a great plug-in.
Mikal The one other thing I forgot to mention was, when using an alpha image (like in the video) and using trilinear or bilinear sampling you get a very faint line around the edge of the sprite? When set to nearest this doesn't happen but then unfortunately it looks ugly.
Do you have any tips or fixes on how this can be resolved?
Thanks again!
wow! That's fixed it! Thank you!
I can confirm this also happens using Chrome on iOS.
