I'm awaiting approval from paypal to start using my account. I needed to modify my old account. I'm not really all that into purchasing a lot of stuff on the net, but I'll be happy when the account is active, so I can tip persons like yourself who generously share knowledge (although I'm not sure that you accept tips at this time, as I didn't check your blog before penning this entry). There are a ton of people who share music tracks, sprites etc. and merely ask for tips (like Jason Shaw at audionautix.com). I'll be happy when I can easily express my gratitude with donations. Especially to Jason and others like him.

This happened to me too. I worked for weeks on the contest project. Had it pretty snazzy. Then suddenly the project would no longer open. Actually it opened, displayed the layout and other tabs. Yet the the pages were blank. I only had two days to re-do my contest entry. I was wondering if I hit a maximum of events and it locked up or something.

Thanks again Nimtrix. I learned about dragging the images from a folder, probably from one of the tutes a while back. I'm just not sure if there was a reason that others would go to all the trouble of doing the other way, unless it had some sort of benefit.

I noticed in a few of the competition tutorials, that the authors were adding a bunch of sprites by clicking on the layout, then having to take the time out to rename them all. I found that when I drag an image directly on to the layout view from a folder on my computer, that it automatically names the sprite the name given in the folder. This saves a lot of time, but I do not know if there is a downside to doing it that way. Is it ok to just drag and drop sprites in?

When I said I had sympathy for students etc. That meant you. You are the "etc." I was referring to. I was not referring to you at all, as a matter of fact, nor anyone in an impoverished country or situation. I'm mostly referring to the narcissists that live here in the U.S. I would be way more than willing to participate in some type of a effort to get this program into the hands of people who are motivated and deserve it, yet struggle everyday to make ends meet and put food on their plate. Perhaps Ash and Tom could do some sort of exchange for good tutes etc. I'll buy someone a license if they can help me with math expressions etc. I know what they are basically, but how to implement them, well that's another story.

Think about all of the time, energy,and money that went in to developing this software! I'm done with my test drive, and have inquired about alternative payment methods, because I do not have a pay pal account.

As far as I'm concerned I think the software is already under priced.

I have a great deal of sympathy for people who have money issues, like students, etc. However there are too many people out there who just plain think they deserve something for nothing. Pushing the program to the absolute max, to squeeze out as many action and events as possible before having to shell out a penny. Where I live you you would only have to mow 2 or 3 lawns to come up with enough money to purchase the personal license. Baby sitting, anyone ever thought of that? Its not a lot of cash folks, go mow a lawn for Ash and Tom, they deserve it!

That was the link that sent me to the empty pages. So I may not have signed all the way out prior, or something. It said to refresh window, but there was no refresh icon on the page. Tried refreshing with no results. I had to close all tabs open in FF, and try again to finally get back in. I guess I'm just not real clear on how it works.

Thank you Nimtrix. I was able to solve the issue in the chat room (Rook and Kyat solved my issue), but I could not get back into the chat room, it just kept sending me to an empty page. I guess I'm not sure how to access it every time. I appreciate you chiming in Nimtrix. I hope you were not bothered by my using your avatar in my fav features vid. I wanted to use some, but in order to decide which ones to use, I chose to use the avatars of those who helped me out during my first query's in the forum.
