    just awesome! thanks:)

  • My jaw hit the desk when I saw variable animation blending - bravo BrashMonkey!

Same here, that and the feature mentioned in the vid at 12:12 are what keep making me drool lol. Great Job on Spriter, it really does make C2 just that much better. Thanks

I do have one question though, will there be a wiki/print tutorials for spriter in the future?

  • I understand if your pissed, but instead of calling it a scam work with people to solve the problem. There are still things you can try and it would help if you post your system specs.

    Have you disable steam Overlay?

    Tried enabling steam offline mode?

Have you cleaned your system of malware?

    are you overclocking your videocard/system?

Is your security software "sandboxing" construct 2 or your video driver??

  • Good stuff, happy to read it worked out Roc!:)

  • any ETA for collision detection support in construct?

i want my player's sword on collision with an enemy to inflict damage.

i don't know how to pin an invisible sprite on the tip of the sword in an scml animation as a way to register collisions.

    any ideas?

Have you thought about adding it to spriter in the animation, then once imported to C2, find the sprite in question and changing it's option to invisible. Just a thought, haven't tested it yet.

  • you should check the end of this thread...http://www.scirra.com/forum/spriter-c2-plugin-update-11-28-2013_topic59694_post480717.html#480717

You shouldn't need to do so many adjustments. Maybe try uninstalling spriter, then re-downloading and installing it from this thread over at the spriter forums... http://www.brashmonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14534

  • when you want to reimport and it can't find the scml, you need to change back the extension to scml( same place you put the initial animation). Then Import and rechange it again to scon.

I'll also add an animation and re-export today, to test with the newest release.

  • newer version, just released...SpriterB5_95.

once exporting the scml file with the options I save the scon version(with options) one after the other without closing spriter. This still left me with problems.

After Lucid told me what the problem was, I then closed spriter and reopened it. Then the scon file, making sure to save it with the options checked. This worked for me, Seemed for some reason the scon file was not saving with the options, unless I reopened and re-saved it. Really hope this works for others.

  • Make sure to fill in your starting entity and starting animation for your Spriter project, same location were you changed the .scml to scon.

Other than that everything is fine and working in the project you sent. Also exported it to Node-Webkit and the animation played perfectly. Make sure you update your plugin. Re download and replace if necessary. If you do all this I don't see why it would work for me and not you.

    Hope this helps:)

  • I just tested, seemed the hands were off in the spriter file. Everything now working including Nodewebkit export, (without minifying).

    Thanks :)

If it is working in preview then you have imported everything correctly. I would say check and recheck that it's not something like a minor detail, exporting to the wrong folder/opening an older version. Something I have done many times.

  • Try Construct 3

I spent last night testing and re testing everything, reinstalled C2 and all the plugins and behaviors without any luck. Finally I broke down my project piece by piece til nothing remained but the restart/character spawning, still nothing. Hoping you will have better luck.

Thanks for helping, email should be there shortly :)
