    Hey all

I've just finished the new trailer for Adventures of DaKoo the Dragon, and there are a lots of changes.

I really wanted to get as much feed back as possible so I've also posted the a YouTube link bellow(sorry embedded videos are no longer working), but it only runs so I suggest using the homepage listed above. Some of the changes include, art work has been reworked one last time, sounds have been added for things like water, footsteps, Factory impacts and so on. More levels ( over 100) and Gravity based Vortex levels. I'm finalizing bosses atm but the game is nearing it's completion. If you haven't already please cast your vote on steam and check out the Facebook page.

You can see the trailer running fps at

  • Have to agree with newt:)

you should really try both, C2 has a free version. If you experience is anything like mine, you'll want a license. The free version is impressed me so much. when I first downloaded C2 I was looking for software to review for my site, but once I started messing with it I couldn't stop. I started making a big game, platformer. The Review was put on the back burner. I ran into problems getting it to run on my tablet. without even being asked Ashley offered to help by take a look, and the suggestions have made all the difference. If you go over the forums and look you'll see this is a somewhat frequent occurrence here. That help is what makes C2 standout, and is something to support.

Don't get me wrong I get frustrated that things aren't exactly like I would want, like native exporters. And I really know very little about Clickteam. But I can say if you have a problem people here help. And that is rare in my experience. Not at least checking out the free version before you start your project would be a mistake imho:)

  • Deleted my last post, I now understand what your saying, thanks.

  • Problem Description

Player fails to jump in gravity based platformer. When you move to the right or left it sometimes fails to execute jump while moving( right will demonstrate it best but it will occur in both directions)

  • The collision is a rectangle, and has to stay that way for the sake of the game:( I'm not sure what is causing it, but regardless of what I try I haven't gotten it to work properly. It seems to have a problem right as the collision steps slightly higher as the gravity angle changes, I thought it was the same thing. Apologizes if I hijacked your thread.

  • I found I have the same problem in the gravity based side of my game. when you are moving over rounded areas you can not jump, you have to stop before it will alow you to jump.

here is a link from the tuts section below. It will demonstrate perfectly.

  • Awesome, was just experiencing the same bug. Nice to see your already on it:)

  • lol that is awesome, I was thinking of the same thing after I saw this thread... https://www.scirra.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=147&t=106031&p=786088#p786088

this will work well in all sorts of stuff. great example, thanks again for sharing it:)

  • Agree there are artifacts. As a temporary work around, I got rid of them using effects. but things like opacity still only work sometimes. In my current shadowlight setup opacity really does not work, the light radius as well. Seems there are lots of anomalies that need sorting but it's a brilliant start.
