  • Hey,

The privacy policy is basically a webpage where you say what your app/game collects/uses from the users.

You just need to make a simple html page and host it on a domain or a site which allows rendering of Html content, accessible to everyone (but not as a downloadable file) You can check mine here if you are looking for a quick example: (http://disclaimer.n-sport.ro/)

It is not mandatory, but if you do have it, you gain access to stuff like Designed for Families and Google Play for Education.

    Nothing else?

Is such a text on a web enough?

  • Hello, I am preparing my card in play store and I have this option that I do not know what to do with it.

My game has appodeal ads but nothing more.

No shopping or anything like that, just ads.

What should I do with the privacy policy?

Where do these policies come from?

  • Thanks guys!.

If the keys you have set are still the same and you haven't changed the project name then all saves will still be there after the update. Never been a problem on any of my mobile games.

It should be noted that it is certainly important:

    • Do not change project name
    • Do not change the name of the save variables

    Thank you!.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Solved case, this "wait" causes the "destroy" action below to fail.

  • Hello, when you have a game in play store (android) and you apply an update to the game, what happens to the progress of the player ?, are they deleted ?, are not deleted?

What must be done to keep progress and not be erased ?, if the progress is erased your game will have negative critics for it.

I do not use "save", I use localStorage.

  • This happened to me because of a 3rd party webgl effect, are you using any?

To me (I think they have not yet solved it in cocoon) even with a blank project, 2 weeks ago.

  • Maybe you have kept your project inside a folder that is inside a folder that is inside a folder and so on.

Or the name of your app is too long.

I only fall over this 2 options

Yes, I think it was because of that.

    Thank you!.

  • Thanks for the clarification, I think I will use another browser for the preview on the mobile.

  • Hello, can anyone test the test that I attached in the previous message ?.

You need the latest version of Chrome for Android to run the test and verify that you get the full screen.

I tried both conditions... I recreated your events and as far as i tested, there were no bugs.

Are you sure your picking of object is right? There might be multiple ramLoading in the layout. And maybe the other object got destroyed you might not just know.

My project is quite large, I will minimize it and try the loader layout to a minimum to see what is causing that behavior. I will solve this thread of conversation.

  • If I remember correctly there is a trigger for when the loading is completed. Try using that instead of the loadingprogress = 1 condition.

That works well on a minimal project but in my project does not work! I do not understand.

Just what happens is that the only action that is executed is "go to layout" the other actions are not executed in my project.

  • Do you have any other actions running on the loading is complete event, e.g. go to layout? If so test by commenting those additional actions out and just run the "loading is complete" event and "destroy object" action to check that those actions aren't preventing the object being destroyed.

Also, silly question perhaps, but is the object you are destroying actually on the loader layout or on another layout?

    > Hello, I'm using a loader layout, when loading is complete (loadingprogress = 1) I destroy an object but it seems to have no effect.

You can destroy an object on a loader layout... Even with that condition...

I honestly don't know what you really mean but destroying an object on a loader layout on loading completed is kind of unusual or unnecessary.

What are you actually trying to achieve?

The object belongs to the load layout.

When the load ends, only the "go to layout" action is executed, the other actions do nothing !, I can not destroy objects, I can not make them invisible, etc ...

What I want to do is leave a few seconds the layout in black completely.

Only the ramLoading object exists in the loader layout.

But I can not destroy it, or make it invisible or put the X to -1000.
