  • When I run the project locally, I still see the default "html5" logo & progress bar. Once uploaded, it doesn't appear anymore and it seems to be replaced by the customized loader layout.

    Recently I tried to create a customized loading screen and... it didn't work. I tought I did something wrong but finally, it appears to work only if the project is uploaded...

    I don't know if it's a bug or a feature to add, but I think every person making his own loader will need to check it offline...

  • In this case, there are only two possibilities:

    • I've missed something obvious and stupid.
    • there is a bug.

    Whatever the reason, I'm sure someone can unstuck me easily :o

  • I see the preview once the choice has been validated (select effect -> validate -> "oh, it's nice but that's not what I expected" (almost everytime :) ) -> delete -> reselect another effect etc.)

    I think it would be incredibly comfortable to see the preview directly from the window displayed above (just by selecting the effects).

    If it's supposed to already be the case, I don't see it on my computer and that's really too bad for me <img src="smileys/smiley30.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> If not, it would be a real improvement (in term of ergonomy), but I don't know what it involves technically speaking to add this "shortcut" to the preview.

    I've updated to R100+ recently and tested the new webgl effects... It's potentially awesome!

    But in practice, something annoys me: there are so many effects (that a good thing), most of them are not clear at first sight and I have to apply/launch the game to see what it is... This is an important waste of time.

    Could it be a way to... I don't know... have a preview of the effect before lauching the game? Directly available from the effect selection menu, cf. this screenshot:

    It doesn't have to be something dynamic... Of course it would be great, but something more visual (an illustration?) would be more "efficient" than a simple text (for most users I think).

  • no specific condition = every tick, no?

    (just in case -I'm a bit desperate-, I've added an "every tick" <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> and it still doesn't work)

  • Hi, I've updated C2 to r103 and the loading screen still doesn't work :)

    Everything in my initial message remains valid... It would be really cool if someone quickly checked what's wrong with my project. Making a customized loading screen appears extremely simple and I have a lot of things to test, but... but... I must have forgotten something.

  • Yeah, I just fixed the problem by rearranging... things... and now it's ok (even if there are still 2-3 additional minor bugs linked to r100+)... Not really sure to know what I've fixed though.

    All this appears seriously weird to me, since it perfectly worked before the updates.

    Not understanding what went wrong and what is right now is pretty disturbing.

    The good thing is that now I can enjoy the r100+ features... :)

    I've started to develop a project with C2 r99, and I have some problems with r100+... More particularly with the buttons generation in my main menu.

    Here are some screenshots:

    r99: everything seems to be ine place (as it should be, at least)

    r103, exactly the same project: omg wtf what a mess (I just noticed that one of my reactors is twisted haha)

    Here is the guilty blocks, I suppose (when the button are generated and positioned on the screen). ItemCreation (buttons on the right) and CreationLevel (buttons on the left):

    Where is the problem? Are some actions bugged or have been modified?

    If someone could have a look and help me understand/fix my problem, it would be so cool... It's a real curse to be stuck in 0.99 while there are so many amazing things in the next versions.
