  • Hi

I've recently submitted my game. Here is what I'm told:

    [quote:2tq2p7tj]Hi there,

We see you uploaded a Nook and Amazon APKs on the File Manager before. We would just like to clear if this is an HTML5 game or an Android game. If this is an HTML5 game, please upload the zipped file on the File Manager.

    • Go to your game's listing
    • Click File Manager
    • Click Remove Last Build, if one exists
    • Zip all game files for your HTML5 game in a single layer package
    • Click Choose File and browse to your HTML5 zip
    • Select HTML Game (ZIP) from the dropdown
    • Click Upload

    • QA Status: In Testing
    • Art Status: Creating Art

I don't understand... During the submission process, I was asked for an .apk files (both for Nook and Amazon), and now they want me to send a .zip file ? I don't understand.

Which exporter should I use and what am I supposed to send exactly?

    Thanks in advance,

    Rag

  • Thanks for your answer!!

Once in crosswalk, which exporter should I use to build an Amazon and Nook APK? "Amazon" and "Nook" I suppose?

I have no kindle nor nook device to check once built... but it worked on my nexus 7 with "Crosswalk for Android", so...

  • Can someone there tell me which exporter I should use to build an Amazon and Nook APK? "Amazon" and "Nook" I suppose?

  • I've created a small game and tried to export to Android with crosswalk.

The emulation seems to work pretty well but when i build the game, install and launch it on my nexus 7, I have a white screen just after the splash screen.

    Can someone help me?

    edit: finally it worked

  • Hi all!

I've tried to submit a game to FGL and at the end of the process:

How do I export to Nook and Amazon? There is an "amazon export" in C2, something to do with that? Should I use crosswalk?

    Thanks!

  • Yeah, i did notice that too long time ago.

So did I... C2 community told me it was normal but my eyes assured me it wasn't.

  • I've almost finished a game and wanted to know more about the submission process...

On the way, I'm said that I have "No Payment Agreement", and I decided to take a look at the "tax instructions" document.

Just to be sure: Is all of this available for people living in France? If so, am I supposed to send you a "physical mail"?

  • I recently started a small game in order to put the process to the test.

Is there any requirements in term of aspect ratio and more globally display settings/optimizations?

  • I was going to look at the capx. But uses a SpriteFont that isn't official. I will pass on installing a plugin I won't use. Good luck. When sharing CAPXs the less thirdparty plugins the more likely someone will take a look.

Oops sorry. Here is a version without any third-party plugin:

I made it a little bit cleaner but it's still laggy on iPhone 4 & 4S.

    Hope you'll find what is depressing me! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarrassed">

    • WebGL disabled
    • 6 objects on screen (no changes when disabling the text boxes)

An iPhone 4 should be able to handle that, shouldn't it?

I'll use the CocoonJS launcher but still... this is crazy. I may try with an empty scene, just for fun...

  • Hi!

I've developed a small prototype that works fine on PC (60fps etc.):

http://www.manaforge.net/test/captainfoot/ (arrow or touch to move and jump)

I just tried it on mobile (iPhone 4, chrome)... and it runs at 30-35fps before the game starts... How is it possible? 8 objects (3 squares and 5 text boxes) and it's laggy? I can't describe what's happening when the enemies start spawning. It's so... slow... and unplayable... There is no physics in the game, it looks pretty simple and clean... What's happening?

Please rassure me: if I export the game to mobile with crosswalk, will it be fluent like any simple 2D game? If it can't run smoothly with 8 objects, I just can't make a mobile game with C2.

    Help

  • Ok thanks, it works Easier than I thought.

  • Hi!

I've developed a prototype of a simple "3D" endless running game (more or less like temple run). It works pretty well with arrows but I'd like to put it to the test on mobile.

I'm not familiar with the touch object (except the basics), could someone tell me how I should proceed in order to add controls based on quick swipes?

Is there a good tutorial I could read/listen? Some examples?

    Thanks!

  • Hi!

I'd like to start a new mobile project but the specific template has been replaced (by many resolution templates... 4:3 16:9 etc.).

Is there a tutorial somewhere to explain which resolution I should focus on? (my first target will be Android)

    Thanks in advance!
