• Hey everyone! (Edit: Please Subscribe to the YouTube Channel)

I'm the facebook admin of http://www.facebook.com/GamerMountain

The page currently has over 80,000 likes. It use to have over 100,000! But I made some bad choices and we lost a lot of support.

But I want to use the page properly now and help it grow!

Initially I was going to create a new YouTube channel called "Construct Reviews" or "Construct Games" However, I have a YouTube channel called GAMER MOUNTAIN which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPeHWJ ... pBGvKSU6hQ

I'm going to start using that for Video reviews and I want to do a lot of reviews for Construct users who have clearly put a lot of effort and polish into their games.

However, i'm very big on custom URLs and to get one on YouTube now you have to have 500 subscribers. I'm currently battling with Twitter to get the Gamer Mountain username/login made available for me as it's been taken by an unused suspended account.

However, I will be start reviews on the YouTube channel regardless of Subscribers, I just want to make sure i'm not branding for the wrong name! haha.

Thank you so much for the support and I look forward to supporting as many of you as I can.

• Thanks RayKi !

I did try rotating the character a few times. I must have missed the facing right rotation by mistake.

Adding art at the end?

Interesting. I'm very visually orientated so I like seeing it develop as I go.

• Hey everyone

Just playing around with C2 some more trying to learn the ins and outs.

I tried searching this but couldn't find it so i'm sorry if it is a double post.

But my sprite keeps looking in the wrong direction when I move him in any direction.

How do I fix this?

Also, can you change the sprites image after programming it with many actions? Not sure how to do that.

Thank you so much for your help!

• Thanks that's awesome.

Thanks Kyatric as well!

My next thought on the Shadows will be in they can be molded around taller objects that their shadows shouldn't cover. I'm guessing shadows can be matched with collisions to stop that issue so that's sweet.

What about rain? Does anyone have any experience with being able to make it look like it's pouring down without effecting the ram much?

Such wonderful software. I will be on this all night. lol

• First things first.

Hi!!! Long time C2 lover but pretty quiet on here.

I'm going to commit more time to it and learn it properly now. Bought a 2k PC to focus on it!

Anyway. I want to make a Top Down game (like the one in the very first beginner tutorial with the player, monster, bullet and explosion.)

But kind of like an outdoor survival game.

So I want to know are there shadow/lighting effects available in C2?

Are there water effects?

I really want the game to look alive and immerse people into it's world.

• Also side note. Scirra claims that their pre loaded functions in the tool are as good as any major game (like 8 Directional movement etc) Is there a way to tweak these functions without ruining them?

P.S I suck with forums so i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place or something like that...

I want to start a Game progress thread to so if someone could suggest a nice place for me to start that one up when it's get going that would be lovely.

P.S the Game will be for PC and I want to have millions of animations for it haha.

Thanks!

Brian

• We don't pay for likes, but all good. :)

I guess that's why we've started the thread though because we're looking for help so we can finish our projects and work on more lol.

Sure.

• So your business model is get likes, then make apps?

Sorry that only works in politics.

If I wanted criticism on how we build our base for advertisement, I would of asked. We've made plenty of APPS but we would rather publish quality first before anything we're not happy with. Not as though that would effect you in any way whatsoever.

• We haven't published any apps yet as we've been building strong foundations elsewhere.

We start at $1000 and negotiate price up from there. Our facebook fanpage has over 10,000 likes with no apps.

We've worked with people before and intend to pay them more on the next projects we work on.

• I think it's best people show me what they're capable of, if I think you're up to the task then we can talk figures. :)

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• PROGRAMMER(S) REQUIRED

We are seeking very talented programmers to work with us on projects.

It could start from small projects, to small test builds to see if it's a worth while project.

All our games start out for MOBILE Devices, both Apple, Android and even Windows.

I myself have completed quite a few games with software I was using BEFORE taking on C2. I didn't publish any of them because I was never happy with the final result. I only want to publish good games.

In return for a good price from you, I can offer awesome advertising for your company as well as I admin facebook fan pages that total over 250,000 likes.

If interested PLEASE post a sample Video of your best games and even a rough price figure then I will get in touch with you.

Thanks heaps for your time.

• Thanks everyone for the interest! I just checked out the inbox messages. :)

If everyone could just post some video footage of your best projects that would be very helpful and time saving. :)

• jayderyu - maybe you could show me what you would comfortable doing for X amount?
