  • Good luck with your Gamescom booth. I won't be able to personally be there, but hopefully a friend of mine will be able to drop by and say hi.

  • Usually developers don't post their earnings, but every now and then you'll see a developer releasing a post like "Our first week on the App Store" or "Our first month on Steam".

  • part12studios Are you saying the build worked on iPhone4S but doesn't work on 5S, or did you make a different build for 5S?

Did you minify on export? I was getting a black screen when the js was minified.

Also, I'm getting 30 issues in my build, all Ejecta related. The game did run normally though.

I tested it on iPhone 4 and 5. I never actually tested on the 5S so as far as I know there may well be an issue with the phone, although I doubt it.

  • Thanks mikeOstaff it worked like a charm.

Have you considered posting this as a tutorial so that others could easily find it?

Oh, and you can easily check the postscript name if you installed the font on your mac by checking the font info (cmd + i) in Font Book.

  • Is there a way to load a ttf or any other font file and use the font in an Ejecta built app or is spritefont the only option?

  • The biggest problem with the Multiplayer plugin on mobile is that no one knows when, and in Apple's case if ever, are we going to see WebRTC supported on Safari for iOS and Internet Explorer for Windows Phone.

  • As far as I know, it's identical. Adding a behavior to a family basically adds that behavior to every object that's in that family.

  • Try Construct 3

  • So after updating an old project to the newer XDK version you apparently need to reupload the code for the project in order to be able to build the app. I had one more old project that I tested this on and it worked, didn't need to upload icons or anything.

And I did eventually get the emails with the download links.

  • So I added the icons and splash screens in the project area and had a successful build, but I thought I'd get an email with the link to download the apk so I just closed the XDK.

After realizing I didn't get the mail I reopened the XDK (had to relogin for some reason), and when I tried to build using the existing code i got the build failed error.

  • Just use an array and save the data locally using Webstorage.

[quote:2ujmld58]What if the licensee purchased the content to create an advergame or interactive banner? What if the licensed content (say a sprite or a piece of music) is featured in an advertisement for the game?

Added an exemption clause "There is exemption is for online advertisements that are solely advertising the Work For Distribution.".

What about print advertisements, like flyers a developer would give out at events or a magazine advertisement for their game?

Or non online video/audio game advertisement like TV or radio?

  • The betas tend to be pretty stable in my experience. And if there is a bug it usually gets a quick hotfix. I never lost significant time because of a beta problem, although it doesn't hurt to wait a few days and see what other users have to say about a new release.

    Regardless, backup your projects regularly.
