  • Tom Wow! That was quick! Thanks!

  • Interesting side note, since I posted that last message, the count has already gone up by 30 downloads.

  • You should make it so that the part at the to[p where it says "Celebrating 1,000,000 Construct 2 Downloads" is the current count. Then have it lock in at 1,000,000 when it gets there. When I first got to the page I assumed that you were already at a million. Like this:

  • Thanks for this! It's a big help to the game I am working on.

  • Here is a comparison between IE and Chrome:

It happens whether I use Chrome web fonts or not.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I'm creating a Windows 8.1 app but every time I try to export the game all of the text shows up as black on a black background. Is there something obvious I'm missing? It works in Chrome.

  • LOL. Never mind. I found it. You have to go into the package.appmanifest and add a .png for the wide logo state.

  • I have been playing with exporting my project for Windows 8 and have managed to get the Live Tiles working... But only a little.

For some reason I can't seem to find a way to force my live tile into the wide tile format. I want to be able to show recent achievements on the tile, but no matter what I do I can't get the tile to show up as anything but the mini square one.

  • prinsukun - I was just thinking that! I would love to have my Construct 2 license on my Steam account. So easy fr when I set up my new PC - whenever I am able to afford one.

  • This is the first of 12 games I am making this year! It's called Dungeon Discs and is designed for large touch-screens (a limited market, I admit!)

Sorry none of the sounds came through!

  • Maybe it is something that is fixed in the Beta release. I am running the official release path right now (so I can't open your file)

  • Oddly enough, no. The order of actions seems to be:

    1. Physics detects collision

    2. Physics are applied

    3. Collision event is raised in Construct
