  • I agree. Avoid it at all costs. I think I have a megaman-like character I created quite some time ago. If you want you can use that for free. =)

  • I like the attack animation, it looks really good. I think it could stand to be sped up a little, though. I agree that WASD is the way to go. It was the first thing I learned how to do after getting sprites into my game. I just couldn't test using only the arrow keys.

  • Actually if you leave the mouse over the stars for a second it shows you the exact rating and how many people voted.

I found that just after the post. Still, it would be useful to know if your rating of 3 was because everyone said it was completely average game, or half the people thought it was awesome and the other half hated it.

  • Well, I love the Arcade but like any other good citizen of the web the first thing I do when I love somethig is start picking it apart and asking for more. <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I have a couple questions:

    1. Will we be able to edit our items once they have been uploaded? I would love to be able to post updates as I develop them.
    2. Will you be allowing comments on the arcade items?
    3. Will there be a way for developers to see how many people have rated the game? (For example: % of people who rated it 5,4,3,2,1 stars)

Anyone else have any recommendations (and praise) for the new Arcade?

  • Thanks! I added in a bunch of explosions today. I still need to set up the resource mining system, then it will actually start being a game. =)

For now keep checking it every so often, I have been updating it a bit every day.

  • This is a game that I started building in XNA but I was put off by both the approval process and low profits on the XBox indies platform.

When I found Construct 2 I thought it might be cool to start rebuilding the game for HTML5. So far I am really enjoying it!

I am updating the Chrome Web Store with versions as they get built:

Fatal Parsec on the Chrome Web Store

Use WASD or arrow keys to move your ship. Right now you have no way of fighting back, but you can try to avoid the little green ships for a while. I'll be updating the game frequently over the next few weeks.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Hello! Okay, I'm new to Construct but I have to say that it seems really impressive so far.

I have been doing Flash games, mostly contract, for over 10 years now. I honestly don't know what else to say... I just want to get back to playing with Construct!
