  • Yeah it didnt let me input the amount of laps to begin with for some reason. When i loaded it again it worked though.

That was pretty damn good Savvy, paticularly like the night effect. No fps issues for me. Awesome sounds.

  • Hey Chrom, its no easy task.

C2 doesnt have built in features for multiplayer yet (if you mean multiple computers). Some people have made progress on it themselves though (a search in the forum for multiplayer should bring up all the relevant threads).

  • He does say that he will cover all costs. Maybe we are assuming here that it doesnt include labour? We should probably ask.

If it does include labour, Im positive that you will find some people here to work with.

  • Hahaha, you HAD to press the button AGAIN didnt you :)

I pressed it a while back and the same thing happened to me. I admit i have been tempted to press it again, then i remember this ren and stimpy episode.

Not a fan of the music in the bg though.

  • Only objects have a ID as far as I know. I think you could achieve what you want with the system command Set group active.

Put any events that you want to shut down inside a "group" in C2.

Set a system command "Set group active" : Activate - For On

                                            : Deactivate - For Off

Or you can do the same thing with variables but i personally find it easier with Group active.

If this makes no sense, check the manual - its not as hard to understand as you would think.

  • Haha i know what you mean.

I had a quick search on gimp and found this, i hope it helps.

    1.Get GIMP.

    2.Open up that image.

3.Add an Alpha Channel by clicking Layer -> Transparency -> Add Alpha channel.

4.Launch the Fuzzy Select Tool by pressing the m key.

    5.Click on the background.

    6.Press the Delete key.

7.Save it as a .png file, as that supports transparency.

    8.Profit?

  • You havent told us which program your using :)

In photoshop you can literally erase the background. (keep in mind that some file formats dont allow transparency - so make sure your using one that does (PNG)).

  • No worries mate,

Sounds like your on the right track, cant wait to see more :)

  • You do not have permission to view this post

  • I remember making some music in the playstation music maker (cant remember the title).

I really like this. Thanks for including the cap.

Any plans on taking it further?

  • Really like the graphics, look forward to playing.

  • Very good job Kastas,

I love the graphics (really nice use of light). A+

I like the gameplay (its a bit tight in the tube sometimes but its still pretty fun).

I hate the music! It reminds of a cheap carnival (In Australia we have some pretty sh*tty carnivals... rusty rides getting dragged out year after year for the same boring experience. Others might associate that music with good experiences though.)
