  • I'm using it with this: Click Here!

    And thanks but I've found a workaround! Since I'm using a grid-base, I can save the array to the Layout Width devided by the Block size (which would be 1280 / 16 ) which equals 80 and that equals fast speed and no lag or anything, so I'm happy :]

  • Hi

    This worked OK for me. There was a very slight pause as the array was created, but that was all.

    I also tested it on Dropbox HERE and it seems to work OK.

    .capx is HERE just in case I've messed up somewhere :)

    It still does the same thing :[ I guess it could well be my computer, but w/e. I don't know what to do then if it does this, If it happens to me, surely it would happen to others.

  • Hello, I found an Array object bug!

    When you make an event:

    <img src="http://screensnapr.com/e/mWsCUa.png" border="0" />

    <img src="http://screensnapr.com/e/WqZqXF.png" border="0" />

    I press the debug button, It loads for 10 seconds then becomes unresponsive..... where-as if I just delete that event and do this:

    and just change the Array settings to:

    <img src="http://screensnapr.com/e/P2LjG1.png" border="0" />

    Then it loads almost instantly and fine!

    They both should work at the same speed, I like the speed of the 2nd solution, but I NEED the first one, the reason be because the layout size will vary depending on user input so I need to be able to set it's new size just as fast as the 2nd solution, this IS A BUG because they're both doing the same thing but for some strange reason the first one crashes. Please fix this ASAP! :)

  • Very nice. Thanks for sharing this :)

    Thanks very much! Anything you'd like to see me add?

  • Comments are welcome :) I'd love to see a-lot of feedback, and also to add more of what you ask for, Thanks!

  • Created by me! 65 Events Long ONLY!

    Objects Used: Array x 1 (For the Grass growth)

    <font color="green">Features:

    • Random Dirt & Stone Generation
    • Grass Growth (w/ Regular 2 second updates)
    • Cave Generation (Toggle-disabled in the CapX & Example)
    • Tree Generation (2 types: Pine & Birch \/ 3 sizes)
    • Biomes (Summer, Desert, Jungle)
    • Very Fast and Compact
    • (Removed Temporarily) Strand Generation (Ores)
    • Chunk Rendering</font>

    There would be more but this was mainly just an Example created for Tonycrew (Click for Profile)

    After he had told me that he had download a world generator that used 3 arrays, I wondered why.. You in-fact don't need to use a single array to create such a thing, the only reason I used it is for grass growth & block storage (you'll need it for later little features like these). So then I made this!

    Note: To increase the rendering area, go into the Rendering group and change all of the "GridSize*5"'s change the 5 to anything higher to increase the area, goodluck!

  • plauk It would be super easy to do that. Just make it so the line will only go green (it can only spot player) if the distance between the two are below 400 (or w/e you want)

  • Also a feature recommendation (highly) is adding a "Destroy at Start" Option as either a behaviour or a check-box!

  • Hello, Dcrew here!

    I'm working on a Space game for the Scirra competition!

    So far it has 8 waves, 8 different enemies and 8 bosses!!!

    Tell me what you're thinking!

  • Audio support in browsers is a mess.

    Even if I agree this option would be nice, it's likely that the HTML5 implementation itself can't allow for it.

    In this condition andreyin's solution is the way to go.

    And for the cases of wild stopping or no playing for w/e reason, I'm not sure this could raise an event either (still because of the implementation of audio in browsers).

    Oh (speechless conception o.o), You think it'll be supported in the near future? (I hope so)
