  • delgado at the top of your PhoneGap build page right above the iOS app build should be 3 blue buttons the middle button will rebuild all. I think you need to buy a iOS Developer License before PhoneGap will build an iOS app though.

  • I'm going to go visit my old friend Doc Brown, and help him finish building his flux capacitor. Then I think we will install it in an old 1981 DeLorean, and travel 4999years, 13days back in time. And add a few more decades onto that calender. Then it's back to the future. Yep that should do it. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Happy New Year from Wisconsin, USA! Well it's time to get ready to go out now here. Hope everyone has a fun, and safe New Years. <img src="smileys/smiley41.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Wow, nice tutorial Weishaupt <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

Pinball - Physics to the max!

I wish there were more tutorials like this that explain how to make a certain game type in a step by step, from start to finish format. It makes learning much faster instead of searching the forums for bits, and pieces of information to try to build a game. That can take hours, days, and or sometimes months to accomplish if your lucky enough to find what your looking for.

    Nice Job <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Weishaupt nice pinball game. I tried making something similar a while back but didn't even come close to what you accomplished. Thanks for sharing your .capx but what plugins did you use to make that game? Construct 2 won't let me open it until I install them.

  • you seem pretty determined, and persistent. I'm assuming by the way you worded your post that you probably don't have much php or database experience yet. Correct me if I'm wrong but if this is the case you really should start by learning the basics of these first.

Here are some good sites that will teach you the basics of php, and SQL:

    HTML.net

    W3Schools

Once you got a good understanding here is a open source php strategy game engine you could take a look at to see whats all involved just on developing the backend:

    php strategy game engine

That is the only open source engine I could find that is under active development. It has bugs though so I would recommend just using it for learning purposes.

    Best of luck to you

  • I just found these on the Chrome web store:

    Audiotool

    Aviary Music Creator

    Aviary Audio Editor

I haven't tried them out yet but there free, and run in your browser.

  • I just found this:

    3DTin

It's on the Google web store. It looks pretty simple I haven't tried it out yet but it runs in your browser.

  • Has anyone tried to make a game for the new up, and coming Windows 8 App Store? There running an App contest right now.

I haven't read over the official documentation yet but there must be a way to make games with Construct 2 for the new Windows App Store.

    New Windows Dev Center

It sure would be nice to have one of the first games on the Windows App Store even if you didn't win. Windows 8 is suppose to go into open beta in late February 2012.

I have paid hosting now for my websites but here is a good free host that Iv used in the past:

    1FreeHosting.com

    You get:

    10GB of disc space

    100GB of bandwidth

    5 email accounts

    5 MySQL databases

    cPanel

    PHP5 support

And best of all no ads

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express

    Windows 7, 64-bit

My graphics card drivers are up to date I check the manufactures website for updates daily.

The picture editor works it doesn't launch an external editor or anything like that but about every 70 hours or so of use I get this error saying "Cannot find project file for animation frame". And one or more of my sprites go missing but there image points are still there so when I reload the missing sprites they appear about 600px or so away from there original image points.

Iv tried to recreate this problem with no luck it seems to just happen randomly. I first noticed this with R67, and reported the bug here:

[R67"> Cannot find project file for animation frame
