  • is there any problem exporting a game to ios and andriod?

Can i apply iap, ads, and leaderboard to my games?

Can i create exe for window?

I only want to make 2d game, is this the right engine for making 2d game?

    In your questions' order:

    • No, you can export your game to Android right now, but note that you'll need Android 5+. I don't know whether iOS export works currently or not, but it will definitely. Oh, and you'll need a paid license to do that.
    • Currently no, since C3 is in beta, but Scirra said that they are developing these options so you can expect them in the near future.
    • Sure, but just as for mobile export, you'll need a paid license.
    • C3 is a 2D engine, and is perfect for 2D games. Experiment with the free version and see whether it suits your needs or not.
  • If anything else fails and all of your other projects open just fine, contact Scirra directly (via email). Describe the problem and attach your project's .capx so they can look into the issue.

  • Set the preview mode to "Dialog" in Construct's settings. That hid the address bar for me.

  • wohooo its 3 milion now

    Congratulations.

  • A good game is not defined by the license you have. If you can create your project between the limitations of the free license, you can make a good free (no commercializing in the free edition) game.

  • NetOne Thank you for the measurements and the video. Those numbers are indeed strange. Something seems to be terribly off with Xbox UWP.

  • Remote Preview will make a LAN connection if the devices can reach each other. Have you tried this? Is it still significantly slower?

Does it work when you don't have internet connection, only a LAN network?

  • In the name of scientology I will try another test this weekend.

I suggest you start by running tests designed to measure performance. There was a downloadable file for the Bunny Test somewhere on this forum if I remember right. You can also set up custom projects with ever spawning moving objects and compare the results on PC, phone and Xbox. I'd be interested in any results you may post here.

  • While it has some new features, it is very similar to C2 in terms of functionalities. Just as newt said, C3 needs time to grow up, just as C2 did.

  • I suggest you start by reading the manual.

Reading the manual is a good advice, however I think you would be better off starting a project based on tutorials and consulting the manual when needed instead of reading it through first (you won't remember half of it).

  • Could be a bug. It might worth a bug report.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • If your C2 project uses 3rd party plugins, make sure that you have their C3 version (if available) installed before you import your project.
