  • I've noticed something that's rather irritating about the platform behavior.

    capx here.

Basically, if you have a vertical wall at a tiny angle, and the player is pushed up against it, it can either be climbed, or the player won't be able to jump at all.

Any suggestions or ideas as to how I can get around this?

    Thanks!

  • R0j0's suggestion is good if you don't have webGL, but if you do then jojo's will probably be a bit easier.

  • jayderyu I'd be interested to see some evidence to back up your opinion that the controller is the only reason the OUYA failed. Seems like a weird thing to say to be honest.

Saying 'game experiences are dependent on the controller' is a bit silly. Sure, the controller is part of the equation, but a very small part. There are very few users who discriminate between consoles based on controller, unless it's totally broken, or horrible (As seems to be the case with this project, to be honest. But it's hard to judge from one picture.)

  • jayderyu I don't think you are correct. I'm pretty sure that names are trademarks too and can't be used without permission.

  • Ciro from what I know, OUYA has sold very few units, makes very little money for developers, briefly had a creepy and disturbing advertising campaign, its company refuses to admit its mistakes, and its Free The Games fund is being openly abused and OUYA is not doing anything about it.

  • I really don't see how you can ship a working console for only $4000. OUYA got somewhere in the range of $8,500,000 and is still considered a failure.

  • This is one of the things that C2 actually really isn't good at. your best bet is to do something tile-or segment-based.

  • Looks great!

  • Katala back, and with a vengeance!

  • sosensible no, mobile devices aren't powerful enough for a game like this, and the control scheme isn't suitable.

  • For young students, C2 is by far the best game-making software - no quesrtion.

CC is retired now, C2 can do pretty much everything CC can.
