  • If I am correct, it means that a group of objects can be put in a 'folder' called a family. This family can be treated as one object by the editor. Useful if you want different types of enemy, etc (although one can get around this by using different animations in a single sprite)

    EDIT: 30 minutes later, I have NO idea how to get my font into spritefont form. Are there any tutorials or generators out there? (I know how to use spritefonts thanks to an example on this site, but i have no idea how to turn a .ttf into a spritefont to use.

    EDIT 2: I found an OK font on the Google Web fonts however I also know of no way to integrate this into Construct.

  • I am trying to use a font I downloaded from the Internet in Construct 2, however a message comes up saying that the font is not supported, for technical reasons.

    Will this be adjusted in future releases of Construct? Or do I have to resort to a spritefont? Is there anything else I can do?

    On a minor note, the first cell generates offset from the rest. any simple adjustments I can make?

  • When I first start up Construct 2 r58 I get an error saying Unable To Load Behavior etc. etc. Pathfinder.

    Has the Pathfinder behavior been removed in r58? If so, I cannot open my project which included this behavior. I guess I will download the version from the Pathfinder Behavior post...

  • I am trying to get construct to make a grid of specific square sprites using events. I am attempting to make it create in a fancy animated way (as in create first cell, wait split second, create second cell, etc.)

    It is supposed to create 4 rows of 6 cells at the moment.

    I have written an event sheet and I don't know why it is not working. I would appreciate some help with the issue.

  • OK then.

  • The zooming works perfectly (And looks nice!)

    However the pausing looks VERY painful. If I just set the game's timescale to zero, some things keep working (like rotation, spawning, etc, etc)

    Does this mean I have to include delta time in all of my expressions?
