  • The mass is the density (set manually) multiplied by the area of the collision polygon.

    Most casual games could easily be made with under 100 events.

  • It depends if your game is heavily physics based or not. The simplest way to do it is to make an object with several animations - the centre sections and the end caps if needed. Animate these graphically and use 'is overlapping' while comparing position to apply a directional movement.

  • It could be anything causing this (generally referred to as 'lag').

    Post the capx and the community will most likely be able to help fix the problem.

  • I am aware of the need to preload audio now. I just have a few questions as to how to go about it.

    If I have, say, 30-40 sound effects, what would be the best way to preload them?

    I have an 'intro screen' of sorts warning players to use Chrome to play the game which goes for about 7 seconds. Then there is the menu and of course from the menu the game can be accessed. However there are probably about 20 or so sound effects that I know will never be used in the first level and the game always progresses linearly, starting from level 1.

    Any suggestions?

  • There are many different parts to AI. Movement and shooting, for example. Running around, you need to think about how they will avoid walls. Do they run towards you? or to a random coordinate?

    You need to think of all these things, and because of the differencences in AI, it is very hard for someone to help much without very thorough description of what they need to do.

  • To throw a ball, the easiest way it just to apply an impulse at angle. Have you read the physics tutorials?

  • Unfortunately, I am not one of the ones to interpret the error console. You'll have to leave that to a pro ;)

  • It could be anything. Probably a third party plugin that went wrong or you may have even discovered a C2 bug.

    Use ctrl + shift + j to bring up the error console and post it to get better assistance.
