  • Ok I guess after looking into construct more, they would be some more advanced Transitions similar to the ones within the add transition button within project menu. But transitions that could for instance burn up the given selected pixels, rott and destroy selected pixels, etc. and many others! There are literally hundreds to thousands of different combinations and a tool like this would really set construct apart even more from other engines! This would add an ease to how one could create needed effects for certain objects in particular situations as well and in return speed up the overall game making process!

  • well I was suggesting just a utility plugin that would allow you to generate all the frames needed for a particular effect. So essentially the plugin/program would capture each frame of the action and same them individually on a ready made sprite sheet. It doesn't take long for those programs to do those things and so if we had one on Construct and then make it to automatically lets say save each frame as a numbered .png of what ever name you give that picture when you begin the process. This wouldn't cause any time lag, because in a game you would be utilizing the sprite sheet that it generates and can save it into the game file/layout that you would specify. Sorry about the two different threads. I figured that this plugin would be a good one for both construct and construct 2 so I wanted both development teams to be able to see it is all...

  • It would be awesome to apply a Motion effects Screen plug in that will allow you to take a frame or two allowing you to take any graphic and apply a special effect to it automatically and then it will automatically generate a sprite from the options you choose coping each frame generated as an individual image and then saving it as a pre-compiled sprite this would be similar to how programs like Final Cut pro, Adobe Premier and Macro Systems Casablanca software works but applied to sprites. Here are a few special effects but in reality there are hundreds of possible effects! With this plugin then creating explosions, fires, destroying blocks, etc. would be simple and any games made with this if applied with appropriate graphic depending on graphic size scale, etc., this could look incredible if applied correctly and no-one has such a feature as of yet on any 2D game engine! macrosystem.us/index.php

So if anyone is brave enough to create such a program to tie into construct We will all thank you!

  • link is dead, can you post again but with a dropbox account...this should not die so quickly?!

  • where is this timeline example at??? There are no links on this post!!!

  • Can't wait to try this, thanks!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • what do you use to make these 3D models?

The only program I know of is spriteforge-3d-2-2d-spriteset-renderer.d-grafix.qarchive.org

But I would really like to use Blender to make them. Is there a format in Blender that I can use that Construct will accept?

  • Hey there,

Here is an idea that would benefit ALL construct Classic and 2 users!

I'm not much of a programmer so this wouldn't even be possible for me right now. But I was thinking that it would be nice if Blender had a 3D to 2D sprite maker similar to spriteforge-3d-2-2d-spriteset-renderer.d-grafix.qarchive.org I left the idea on the Blender forum with no reply yet... But if any handy programmers here could make something and contribute it to Blender than we all would benefit and be able to make Awesome Realistic High-Res 2D sprites to use in our games! Also contributing this to Blender could add some more free advertising for Construct2 and Construct on the Blender Website as well! I would love to be able to construct most of my graphics in Blender and then import them over as Hi-Res Realistic 2D sprites and images and I'm sure many others would also, just a thought! Can anyone here by chance help us to achieve this, just wondering?

  • Here is one for example:

It's finally here, the successor to the Advanced Camera plugin: MagiCam!

  • Hi There....

Just looking through the forums I have noticed that there are new plugins and even newer ones every day, can someone create a Permanent forum chat topic that is specifically about newer plug-ins! I am currently wondering what new plug-ins I could be missing that wasn't included in the latest Construction Classic Download that might make my game making THAT much easier!

I really appreciate all the hard work I see volunteers on here making plug-ins to make all our lives easier, but could there be 1 area where we can go to find all these things much more easily or can someone on the Scirra team gather them and add them to the site each month as an update so that everyone can take advantage of the latest plug-in's much more easily? Thanks ahead of time for taking your time to reply!
