  • Do you have an example of your events, because without it we can only guess..

  • From the link zenox98 gave:

If you've made a purchase directly from Scirra (rather than from Steam), you will be sent a redeem key by email. This is a special code you can enter to the Scirra Store and get your license.

Once you have redeemed your purchase from the Scirra Store, you can download your Construct 2 license, which is a file called c2license.txt.

If you lose your license file, such as if you format your computer and forget to back it up, you can re-download your license here:

  • Actually in your case it's much easier using two tilemaps..

Assuming characters can walk over the grass areas, but have to somehow collide with the house..

  • You can't have two tiles occupying the same spot in one tilemap..

  • Did you follow the Beginner's tutorial?

    It has enemies, doesn't it?

First you should decide on what kind of movement you would like to use..

Then you would need an event with conditions when you want the enemy to attack and add actions what you want to do when attacking..

  • The same way you would with the paid version..

What kind of AI are you wanting to make?

  • Something like

system compare Global variable MonstersKilled > XXXX

System set variable LayoutAvailable to 1

I'm not sure how you would go to that layout in your game, but in the event that does that add the condition "variable layoutavailable = 1"

  • Your project is working as expected..

In event 6 you are not picking any instance of sprite, so all instances react to the actions..

  • Seems like a normal animated sprite to me...

  • Without seeing your capx it would be guessing, but could the sprite be overlapping a solid?

I created a test-capx and it works as expected when I make it, so there must be an issue in your capx..

  • You mean making the object bigger to show it's higher or are you using fake perspective or..?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You use timers, as in timer behaviour?

You could ofcourse just use an on animation end trigger..

What is probably happening right now is that you are not using else statements and as such all events trigger after eachother..

When you want help with something like this adding your events would probably make answering your question a lot easier..

BTW: Did any of my other answers to any of your questions actually help?

So many of your topics seem to end in an answer by me or someone else, but no reaction anymore..
