  • That would be a nice idea, although most people already have DX. In the meanwhile, there are other setup creators you can use, such as Install Creator (http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/install-creator.html).

  • That IS weird. Anyway, it works either way on mine, either dragging Layout 1 below Layout 2 or dragging Layout 2 above Layout 1.

  • You literately only have to make a text box saying "a game by briggybros" and a particle object move, use wait and at the right time make a sound. Then, fade-in the sponsor (which shouldn't be hard to understand how)

  • Exactly. Try to at least give us info on the game... Style, feeling, etc will all give us an idea of what you're searching.

  • Hello. I drew a simple character on paint (yes, I know, but I was just testing). When I imported it to Construct, I noticed I'd rather make the outline 2 pixels thick, since I only made it 1.

    Do I need to 'redraw' outside of the outline so it'll get 2 pixels thick or is there a way to do that automatically?

  • Personally, I think it's a pretty awful idea. Most free games that use this system (there are some exceptions, such as TF2 and some others) are plain bad. Just horrible.

    And then they have the *brilliant* idea of implementing micro transactions. What do you get? A s**t load of angry people because the players who pay get a 1-hit kill assault rifle.

    And that really bothers me. It ruins all the fun of working hard for weapons, items and stats of both the buyers (they level up twice as fast, etc) and other players. (what's the point of leveling up if you know that if you don't play you'll never be able to beat premium guys?)

  • Do it again. I did that too, and the first time I associated it with Construct, the menu also closed and Construct didn't pop up. So I just did it again and it did the trick. <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I'd say sell your games. Look at Notch, for example. But oh well, what do I know? :S

    EDIT: Distributing the game as freeware and using microtransactions is also a neat idea.

    You should totally make some tutorials on that. You'd become recognized around here pretty fast.
