  • mexico1414 ok I'll give that a try also, thanks also with these levels do you know how I can stop the background from scrolling? for example have you looked at the space blaster demo in construct 2? the background keeps scrolling. I changed the 4 or 5 default backgrounds sections they use in that demo to 13 of my own sections and I want the background to stop scrolling at the last section which would be backgroun13 and then have a boss appear

  • heromedel ok i'll try that. Do you know how I can absorb for players special move bar? For example you know in most shoot em up games there's an energy bar that builds up when killing certain enemies or whatever and when it's full you can unleash a super move? I wanna do that also.

  • mexico1414 I got it to transfer but how do I get player to be there also? it's just the background only haha

  • Hi guys! I wanna make it so when my player touches my tunnel image that's in my background the player gets transferred underground to a new level. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks

  • I wanna have it so when enemy is hit by lasers they absorb it and if killed with lasers when they explode they release a bullet pattern but if killed by missiles then no bullet pattern. For the other enemy if they are killed with missiles then no bullet pattern. No absorb needed for this enemy. Thanks everyone

  • Hi everyone, I have a question. I made a little game demo with game salad but I wanna do this project with construct 2 because it seems more user friendly so I wanted to know is there a way to move or make these same events in construct 2? I need have an event where the boss sprite that's on the right of the screen go through it's frame of opening its mouth and shooting a fireball and close mouth and repeat but with a random shooting pattern and then I need to have it so when player taps on fire ball it explodes and boss takes damage but only if player taps on fireball when it collides with a vertical line but if player taps too early on fireball or too late and it collides with player that's behind the line they take damage and of course I'll need life bar events for both and a score for player. Oh and music playing. I got a lot of this done in game salad but I really don't like working with that program to much lol so That's what I wanna get down for now so if anyone can help out with this that would be great, thanks a lot.

  • Ok so I went to go try this and I didn't see any section at all in the events that lets me even select any music at all. Do you happen to know what event section it's in because I went to audio but all it gives you is a choice to stop sounds but not music
