  • Im wondering if having scenegraphs work just like a layout would be a good way to go.

    I mean since we no longer have to have objects in the layout they will be used in, and a lot of people use asset layouts anyways.

    I dunno maybe.

    One suggestion if you do use a layout for this Ashley

    Make sure that if you go to that layout just to edit something it doesn't run that layout...

    Using an empty layout for assets like this gets freakishly annoying as you have to go back to the layout you want to preview.

    Then if you do make the mistake of running to asset layout you have to wait a few seconds after closing it as the editor doesn't respond very well to quickly starting another preview.

  • For Sprites, would it be possible to add frames as a property?

    It really would be easier to use for animations.

    That's not how asynchronous works.

  • Save the date, and or timestamp to local storage. Use that to figure out how much time has passed.

    Yeah the third party stuff is what you have to worry about.

    Thats Chrome, Nwjs, and Java basically. Chrome, and Nwjs should be fairly safe though.

    They will likely fix any specific C2 bugs that crop up, if they can.

    It was retired in July, and there's already a release for a bug fix.

    That should be some indication.

    I would worry more about Java screwing things up.
