Hope they weren't optimized.
Was always fond of Shakespeare's ability to add more than one meaning to everything.
Fillet of a fenny snake, In the cauldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and howlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. [/code:1zh1psmu]
Why don't you just use particles, and have the x, and y randomizer set to screen width, and screen height?
Might try the latest unstable .99.72. It sounds a bit like Davios collision bug.
Is it just certain layouts that cause the bug?
Also what version of Construct?
Is this with a transition?
Object is ... in corner for being a bad boy?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Actually I don't think they planned on having collision detection on the line object, might be nice tho....
In the mean time the quickest way would probably be to use a dummy sprite set between the two objects.
Like you said its not supported yet. For the time being I'd suggest making up your own out of sprites, etc.
Yeah you can create a window with Python. Matter of fact the window doesn't have to be directx.
Useful for some things, but I don't think it can get the same speed as the Construct window.
