Hi Scirra forum,
I've got a basic question but i dont get the answer. How to get each frame from an .GIF animation. I downloaded some sprites who are already animated (like walking or standing) but to use them in construct i need every frame of it. Or can i use an already animated sprite.
Greetz
You'll have to break it into seperate frames with a .gif editing program. If you don't have one, I geuss you can use the printscreen key to try to capture every frame, but that could be annoying.
Ok thanx, going for a search for an .GIF animator!
Hope they weren't optimized.
Well i think so because when i save each frame the quality is really low. How do i fix that?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
save as PNG, not JPG. Disable dithering.
If you're using photoshop, there's a macro (Automate) to export each frame as a separate file.
