  • I uploaded my game to Scirra Arcade. It has some links do FB, Twitter etc. But after uploading game on SA none of the link doesn't work. Why?

    Tried to look for help in the SA help section but found only this:

  • Is it possible to retrieve angle of an object that is controlled via physics?

    I'm moving it by:

    But when this object collides with another physics object I can't rotate it towards direction that it's really moving after collision.

    Is it possible?

  • Indeed issue 1 was easy to handle.

    Are there problems with this solution? What do you mean that XDK doesn't recognize it?

  • I'm planning to export my game to iOS. I found some tutorials but they are outdated or I'm missing something.

    This one (https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/1353/h ... gap?page=2) says I need to export with PhoneGap but there's no more this option in C2.

    This one (https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/907/de ... e-easy-way) says I need to export with Ejecta but there's no more this option.

    What is the best way to export to iOS with C2 r214?

  • As result I'd like to have universal button that can change global variables. When building my options menu I'd like to put one object (button) that determines what variable to change and how.

    Example:

    I have global variables:

    1. setupSound

    2. setupMusic

    3. setupSpecialEffects

    and so on.

    On the options layout I'd like to put 3 instances of sprite object - buttons. In every button I determine what variable to change and how:

    Button instance 1:

    • variableName = "setupSound"
    • variableValue = 1

    Button instance 2:

    • variableName = "setupMusic"
    • variableValue = 1

    So pressing Button instance 1 will set global variable "setupSounds" as 1.

  • I'd like to make an object (myButton) with 2 variables:

    • variableName
    • variableValue

    And then if player presses this object change global variable thats name is [myButton.variableName] to [value myButton.variableValue].

    Now I can only change global variables selected from dropdown list.

    Is it possible?

  • Thank you for answers. The solution for my problem was "Signed" checkbox. When i checked it there was no more problems.

  • I'm trying to make an Android game via XDK, but after trying to install APK on my device I get "App not installed":

    .

    Tried on 3 different devices.

    The tutorial (https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/809/ho ... -crosswalk) is outdated since update and changes on Intel XDK, so I had to improvise and propably made some errors in defining a project but I have no clue what it is.

    Steps:

    1. In C2 I've exported game as Mobile/Cordova

    2. In XDK I've created new project

    3. In XDK I've configured Build Settings/Android-Crosswalk:

    4. In XDK in BUILD tab I've selected "Crosswalk for Android" and saved the APK on my device

    5. When I try to install this APK I'm getting error as mentioned before "App not installed".

    What I'm doing wrong?
