  • Stencyl started a "closed beta" program around the end of October (invite only). I'm not sure how many people are using it now but from what they same it seems to be easier to learn than Gamemaker.

    Who knows when the general public will be allowed to download it. They still refuse to show screenshots of the editor, and I guess they're not even allowed to talk about the editor in any detail.

  • I was thinking about something related to the trip of a parasite through the body, but with a realistic look.

    How about a game where you start off by choosing which virus you want to play as, and then fight through the bodies' immune system to infect the human?

    CONGRATULATIONS...

    You have have given your host body;

    AIDS!

    Errr... or maybe not.

  • I've asked so many questions from everyone since I've joined and I've bothered Ashley multiple times with the same "eight direction movement" problem (fixed ) but at least now I feel like I've finally done something to return the favor.

    I've been procrastinating on my puzzle game "Chrome Cannon" for a while, but now I'm determined to seriously start the project and (hopefully) give everybody a fun new puzzle game to play.

    Thank you, everyone on Team Scirra!!!

  • I prefer PSP for emulating, more options.

    True. NES emulation is pretty good on the DS but SNES is really hit or miss. Hopefully there will be a new version of SnemulDS at some point in the future.

  • It actually ran fairly smoothly on my old PC. Not 60fps but it wasn't jerky by any means.

  • ...and by celebrity, I mean that one of the Destructoid writers finally discovered your 2.5d Zelda game.

    Sooo... okay. Maybe "celebrity" isn't quite the word.

    It's still cool to see a Scirra member get mentioned on a site as well-known as Destructoid. Can we hope that you will release a new demo sometime in the future?

  • Looks like an FPS killer, Davio. Looks amazing as well, though.

    I haven't played it in a while, but I still haven't beaten the first boss.

    Can a playah get a supahbomb?

  • actually, I was just directing you to the original inspiration for the art you posted caspis :

    Thank you for the name of the artist. Disturbing, but fascinating.

  • I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in frustration and were suddenly silenced.

    ...I fear something terrible is about to happen.

    Heh, this is great news! I'll be practicing my swearing in anticipation of the eventual release.

    What kind of videogame art is that?

    I think Lucid is following the "baddass art in general" proposition.

  • I'm breaking the rules of the thread by posting something non video game related, but I didn't want to start a new thread for just one image. Sooo... how about just; "badass art"?

    This is from the latest chapter of "Berserk";
