• Hmm, I've seen ways of hiding everything away from a light source, but not ones where you can still see the ground underneath. It should be possible but I definitely don't remember seeing a plugin for that sorry

  • Wow that looks nice Thanks for sharing!

  • Not sure what you mean by like a mouse, but if you want those do this:

    Event for "On pressed":

"Control is down" + System "Trigger once while true"

    Event for "On released":

inverted version of "Control is down" (right-click and select invert) + "Trigger once while true"

You can download the free Construct Classic examples kit in my signature and you'll find an example of 360 controllers as well as other stuff I've done which might help.

  • I'd like to help but it's been very busy for me here sorry

Hopefully someone else will be able to help, but I'd strongly recommend you continue with the other parts of your game in the meantime where possible, and if you *must* use a work-around, you can make clones of objects and copy-paste the events.

  • I remembered an old example someone made which might be what you're looking for: Waterfall Particle.cap

  • The best DRM is making a game so good people feel bad for not buying it but Excal is right, if you get on Greenlight then that's good DRM, but otherwise I'd say don't use DRM in your game.

Also, you can make installers with the free Install Creator: http://www.clickteam.com/install-creator

  • Sounds like you'd like to use families, as long as all the objects have similar variables and are sprites in that family then they can share code

  • Wow that looks awesome Urled!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I love those castle graphics, never knew the 8bit pallet of the NES supported that

  • Hmm, not sure, can you upload a cap?

And I guess an easy way is to put that layer at the top and set the whole layer to visible/invisible as needed.

  • silverback awesome news! Thanks for sharing that :) and yeah, the CC forum sections are still open for discussion :D

  • Sure no problem I just threw this example together for you: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4714446/HatchDoor.cap
