  • You can do this using the html text box. All you'd have to do is wrap the text around html tags like

However, this would probably be easier with some sort of string parser... Which unfortunately, Construct doesn't seem to have...

I probably should start looking into the plugin dev kit...

    I can't really think of any simple way of doing it the way you want using Construct.

    I'm not sure how well masking would work the way you want... There is also the collisions issue to deal with... (actually, is overhead or side scrolling?)

    As far as an IRC channel... All it would take is for someone to make a room for construct somewhere on freenode or rizon or wherever... Of course, it would be nice if Ashley approves and such...

    When you create a tiled background and then copy and paste it. When you try to edit any copy of it, and save the changes, construct crashes with...

Great work on Construct BTW.  I'm pretty impressed with it so far.  This has great potential to be better than the other tools of this sort... And I've used them all...
