  • I'm not sure I understand what's going on from your post. You should post a .cap so someone can take a look at what's going wrong.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I've noticed that there is still a bug that's letting the player fall through vertically moving platforms, but that's with the Platform attribute checked. Seems to me that if it's set to Solid then that shouldn't happen.

At any rate, we might have to wait for the triumphant return of David before any more platform stuff gets fixed. If you could recreate the problem in a fresh .cap and upload it to the bug tracker that would help.

  • I have one but I don't use it and I've never tweeted anything. It's

I did add you guys to my followy listy thing though. Maybe if I figure out what it is I want to tweet I might tweet something.

  • Everyone calm down. I've been modding enough stuff lately, I don't need the extra work.

  • Hehe, it's cool . Anyway, Aeal's link to his VBank plugin on page two of that thread still works, so you might want to grab it. It just stores variables without having any sprite information.

  • This was requested before, and the devs have said "possibly, but not until C2."

In fact, you were in that thread arguing against Layout Variables, Mipey... so, uh... yeah. I guess you had a change of heart?

  • There is no need for frustration. Let's everyone calm down here.

Zac, PixelRebirth was just suggesting that you get a little more experience under your belt before tackling a big project. What he said is true, not jerky.

At any rate, what you're asking to do is rather complex. I would start by putting your mockup gui in to Construct and fleshing it out piece by piece. Add a thing to click on here, a text box to read there, etc. When you get to a specific problem that you can't solve, feel free to ask for help then.

  • It's been requested a lot. In fact, there's another thread about this just a few threads below this one...

Anyway, the devs were working on the ability to copy/paste objects and events between .caps (there is already rudimentary support for this but it is still buggy). If that feature is finished, that's likely where it will end, at least as far as Construct 1.0 is concerned.

As for Construct 2, the devs have said that .cap files will be pure XML so there won't be an issue there really. But that's not for a long way off.

  • The canvas resizing thing is a known issue. A fix was attempted in a recent build but apparently it didn't take.

In other words, it's a bug and not much can be done about it until it's fixed. Sorry

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Welcome to the boards. Nice way to make an entrance

Did you not notice that Jessekaye was a spambot?

That's okay, neither did I until now... but you actually replied to it. Now that's a funny joke )
