  • Report post doesn't work. Some twat called myworkkj posting madness, but get error when trying to report it.

  • Are there still issues with the new server setup?

    On the previous forum/server, I never had any issue connecting, but I now regularly get the 'can't establish a connection to the server at www.scirra.com' message.

    If it's Tom just tweaking, can I suggest using Twitter to inform people of the site status. Just a thought.

  • You will need FireFox5, Chrome, Internet Explorer 9 or Safari in order to use and test Construct 2, as it says HERE.

    Try to upgrade Firefox and see what happens.

  • Maybe add a random value to the ball.y when the ball.y before impact is the same after impact with a wall, if you get my drift.

    I seem to remember such games as Arkanoid would sometimes do the same but would then veer off after a certain number of bounces.

    Not sure if you're aware but images from Gravatar are added to this site automatically, as long as you used the exact same email address on both accounts.

    Although after seeing the awesome trailer for Immortals, at least Henry Cavill looks like a good choice.

  • As a follow-up to TheBen's reply...

    persist files are small xml structures that show the current state of opened layouts etc, and can now be disabled in prefs - as they are known to cause problems for some when closing Construct.

    this is another woeful attempt at a reboot. They really do have no ideas left :/

    I do like his web-slingers though - matches the comics at least!

  • If I may interject....

    The example I posted in the 'Hosts' thread still shows just a white page for me - FF5 - as does the example posted by darknoo, but if I just dbl-click the index.html of the example I posted to Dropbox through explorer, then it works fine.

    I'll try a few more things.......
